Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm trying to be as open and honest as possible, especially since the current tech job market is a bit tough. With that said, this is a great time to learn while the market is down. Good luck with your journey!

Thank you for sharing the levels! really clarified a few things. I wonder if recruiters using the level system to identify potential candidates?
@rahpstudio

You're very welcome! I'm sure they do use these assessments to determine at which level to hire individuals, based on the criteria for each level and your experience. Some people may feel that companies like Google may sometimes undervalue their experience, but I've come to realize that working at a large tech company requires certain skills that a small startup doesn't (and vice versa). Some of these skills can only be learned by working there. I'm certain all of these factors play a role in the hiring process and in determining who they choose to move forward with. That's why I tell people that applying to a company is a bit of a gamble, and it's more about applying at the right time for the right role. It's hard to determine that solely from the job description; you just have to give it a try and take a chance. :)

Thanks for your useful video. I have a question about how you interact with software engineers? and who will resolve conflicts? for example you design a UX and the software engineers says no we do not need it that way or you may suggest feature and they are not agree. How will make last decision about it?

as an introvert can i find a job online without moving out of my digital bubble? 😐 I'm tired with providing little services on Upwork i really need a real job but i have social anxiety 💔
@rahpstudio

I totally feel you and, believe it or not, I struggle with my own bouts of social anxiety. That's actually part of the reason for why I started this channel because sometimes it feels a lot easier to speak to a camera and another person and I still want to pass down my knowledge somehow. It's also part of the reason why I work remote and it makes my life so much easier. I guess what I would suggest is to try and find a remote job which I know is a lot harder nowadays with the increasing WFO propaganda but remote jobs still do exist, especially if you already have some experience in UX. I might make a video about this but what it really comes down to is recognizing our weaknesses and our wants and finding ways to work around them (like remote jobs for people who have social anxiety, connecting with people on linkedin over in person networking). It really takes creativity but we are creative individuals so if anyone can figure it out it's people like us. Hope this helps and don't feel bad about your social anxiety, you're not alone 💛

This is a great question and I think it could actually make for a great video! Here are some tips on how to work your way to a freelance position in UX: 👉🏼 Learn more about the craft of UX. There are many resources available online and in libraries to help you learn about the basics of UX design. You can also take online courses or workshops. 👉🏼 Learn from successful designers. Read books and articles by successful UX designers, watch their talks, and follow them on social media. 👉🏼 Participate in meetups and hackathons. This is a great way to meet other UX designers and learn from their experiences. You can also get involved in hackathons to put your skills to the test. 👉🏼 Practice, practice, practice. The best way to improve your UX design skills is to practice regularly. Even if it's just in your sketchbook, the more you design, the better you'll become. 👉🏼Sign up for freelancer websites. Once you feel comfortable with your skills, you can start getting some projects under your belt by signing up for freelancer websites. This is a great way to gain experience and build your portfolio. I hope these tips help you on your journey to becoming a UX designer! You got this! 💪
