This is one of my favorite categories. L'eau Papier is my absolute favorite right now! I also love Guaic 10, Angel Dust, Cashmere and Palo Santo, Sun Light, Milky Musk 39, and Bo. Super excited to try Byredo's new fragrance Desert Dawn, which looks like a woody, powdery musk.

Woody musky is my favorite scent profile. OMG this is a dream video. In my collection, I have Golden Oud by Amouroud - its so powdery from the prominent orris and heliotrope, and super woody from the guaiac wood. But also has patchouli, tobacco, myrrh, caramel and vanilla, but the opening has a fizzy champagne notes. I wore it yesterday and it lasted on me for hours!

Yes I totally agree with you with the Kayalis and I even like the 36 more than the 35, it's delicious!!! Yes without any personal bias I think that Dior Homme parfum is one of the best if not the best as you said of all time, I'm amazed that Dior doesn't take care of this collection and focus on dumb fragrances like Sauvage Eau Forte, sad that sales are more important than good taste and heritage. Loved these woody videos!! Thank you Sebastian!!!

After smelling hundreds, Santal Basmati is one I bought a full bottle of for my husband. Smells incredibly smooth and attractive on him. On a different note, he also smells unbelievable in SL Five O'Clock Au Gingembre. Swoon.

Loewe 001 Woman has been my favorite designer fragrance for the last 3 years. It’s a beautiful creamy sandalwood with some powdery touches and despite being labeled for women I consider it completely unisex. If I had a signature scent it would be this one.

@@ThePerfumeGuy No it was limited release & hasn’t been back since. People have been shouting from the rooftops & paying $125-$150 for 10ml bottles. And people kept asking her on instagram awhile back & she teased it was coming back but now many months have passed & still nothing. Someone recently said September but I’m doubtful because she’s been out of stock of MANY of her regular fragrances which feels like a supply issue.

I love that line. I think the Iris is not my fave but I enjoy it. Love the Patchouli, Tea, Ginger, Mandarin and even the Guaiac now. But for sure it's woody powdery! :)
