I'm only watering it once a week when the soil dries up. Suddenly there's been a slight yellowing of the leaves. Could it be because of the strong sunlight or insufficient watering? Please help. 🙏

While ZZ plants are hardy, they thrive in bright indirect light and can tolerate low light. Direct sunlight, especially strong morning rays from an east-facing window, might be causing the yellowing leaves. Here’s what you can do: 1️⃣ Move the plant to a spot with bright but indirect light. You can place it a few feet away from the window or use a sheer curtain. 2️⃣ Check watering: Your watering schedule seems fine, but ensure the soil is completely dry before the next watering. Overwatering combined with strong sunlight can also stress the plant. 3️⃣ Remove yellow leaves: If the yellowing persists, prune the affected leaves to direct energy to healthy growth.

नहीं, ZZ प्लांट काफी हार्डी होता है और आसानी से रिपॉट किया जा सकता है। अगर यह सिर्फ कोकोपीट में लगा है, तो रिपॉटिंग करते समय इसे एक अच्छी पॉटिंग मिक्स में शिफ्ट करें जिसमें गार्डन सॉयल, सैंड और कम्पोस्ट या वर्मीकम्पोस्ट शामिल हो। रिपॉटिंग के बाद पानी देने में ध्यान रखें कि मिट्टी अधिक गीली न हो, और प्लांट को कुछ दिनों के लिए छांव में रखें ताकि यह नई जगह के अनुसार एडजस्ट हो सके।
