Take it from some who owned a home in Ann Arbor for 14 years, DO NOT BUY A HOUSE IN A2! Taxes are OUTRAGEOUS! They are constantly removing lanes on streets for bike lanes! The traffic SUCKS! The winter snow clean up is AWFUL! The theft is crazy. Oh the TAXES SUCK! You can always count on being 2nd or 3rd to the university needs in the community. Go to Dexter, Chelsea, Dundee, or Brighton.

My wife and I are seriously thinking about moving back to Michigan (I was born and raised in Lansing) and A2 is on her short list. Having lived in a different college town I get the university getting first priority on things, but what is your take on the theft problem???
