Played the Backbreaker this morning and the pins were on the opposite side. That 9 is such a tough 9 because of the hills. Loved the Video.

I’ve never been able to hold the green on the par 5 7th. That green is nuts. The camera does not do the hills on that course justice. Although the tornadoes in 2011 or 2014 completely changed the face of the course, we are still very lucky to have such a beautiful place to play golf here.

the greens are truly crazy in the best way, and you're right the slopes are way beyond what a camera can show! hopefully people go see for themselves!

Any time anyone feels too good about their golf game, just go to silver lakes for a few hours

@@__A_J__ you’re absolutely right about that it’s tough. I know if it’s a slight breeze at my house that means it’s gail force at Silver Lakes.

very tough place .. 14 pars in a row is good stuff. Crazy to think they have qualifiers that guys take it 65-67 on some weekends out there. Good playing jake!

Some of the greatest public access golf in the world on the RTJGT.

Silver Lakes in my opinion is the hardest course in the state(maybe the Judge) with all the elevated greens and the unjilation on them. We usually play the orange tees and it's still hard to break 80. 75 from the purple tees is damn good golf

We played here for sub-state! For sure one of the hardest courses we played all year. Greens are really difficult to read😂

I play the RTJ courses in Northern alabama and have my RTJ pass. (fighting Joe / etc) . Couple things on putting. I still like to plumb bob with my putter. (the old version of aim point) ;) ha! But I have been trying to find ways to improve green reading. If you stumble onto anything about reading grain, etc it'd make a good video.

I have played both those courses probably over 100 times lol. They're the two most underrated courses on the trail IMO.
