Yes! My mother was an art teacher, she was teaching a lesson where the kids made “cave paintings” with people and bow and arrows, and there were like two parents that got REALLY mad, almost got her fired for letting their kids draw bows with crayons 💀

Honestly I’d say most of these aren’t inappropriate for middle schoolers. However just because they may be appropriate doesn’t mean appropriate for school and I can definitely see how a teacher could get in trouble if one student gets one of these and their parents happen to make a big issues out of it.

Honestly the ones you have banned seem reasonably banned for middle schoolers, some of the more controversial ones would probably be better for like sophomores- seniors In high school

Not really, middle schoolers have seen worse, our teachers don’t give a shit what we say or have on because we’re older. Elementary shouldn’t have this but middle schoolers can have close to all of these.

In my school that I'm leaving though, we have a ticket shop we're we buy things with these tickets and we can buy stickers, books, candy, squishmallows, etc. But the way we earn tickets is by being a good citizen.

My homeroom teacher is doing something similar to yours. Our school has a program thingy called Positives and Negatives. So basically if u are being good, like being quiet when everyone is rlly loud, or smthn liek dat,u will get a positive! And if u aren’t being supr gud, then u get a negative, and if u get 3 negatives for the same thing, u get a minor AKA detention, and if u get 3 minors for the same thing, just a more worse punishment. Now if u get ten positives on ur behavior sheet, then u can get a sticker or a desk pet (eraser animals) or a sheet of gecko gold. Gecko Gold is Another thing our school does. If you are being super good, u can get a gecko gold. And if you keep ur gecko gold safe until the end of the quarter, they do this thing called Gecko Gold Store! And GGS is basically where u buy stuff with ur GG!

@@leonardo.diCATio not really, kids will see worst and hear worse online, our school system is already going to all hell so it wouldn’t necessarily effect the students very much, my teacher always keeps more appropriate stickers on hand so if a student doesn’t want one of the innapropriate ones they are still welcome to grab a more appropriate sticker
