I just started tying on a jig every time I go out because I have very little confidence in it and I'm catching them like crazy! It's wild! I found out that in my lakes they prefer slow fall and high action this summer!

Mike, I’m absolutely loving this jig series!! This was the best one yet. I’d like to share my little system if you don’t mind. At my age(62) I have to come up with little word tricks to help with this stuff. Mike, I’m absolutely loving this jig series!! This was the best one yet. I’d like to share my little system if you don’t mind. At my age(62) I have to come up with little word tricks to help with this stuff. So I only have to remember “”3 C’s, ….Mod-Craw ……….& H&H””. 1) a- ‘C’HUNK = the 3 “C’s”. Clear/Calm/Cold. If 2 of these 3 exist in the conditions, I’m throwing a chunk. (Occasionally also when I want a quicker fall rate). b- Craw = the word “Mod-Craw”. I just remember that word and it explains everything moderate. c- H&H = “H”ot water needs “H”igh action. That’s it, work great for me. I also use the stick bait piece on my chunks but at times use bright ones in muddy water. Anything to draw attention. (Ex. Chartreuse stick bait on Blk/Blk or Blk/Blu jigs. Thanks again Mike. Already looking fwd to the next video!!

Hey Mike. First, huge fan and thank you very much for the videos. Huuuuge help. Im re-watching actually. I was just going to say, I’ve been learning to fish jigs for 2 months now on the D&R canal in NJ, forcing myself to only fish jigs (and buzzbaits), and I can’t get any trailer to work other than the chunks lol Anyway just a random comment and thank you again 👊

I'm going to have to watch the first 2 parts after this one because i just started fishing a jig last year I've had a lot of luck with the swim jig and fair luck with a casting jig but I'm still learning and who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks Thanks for the tips Mike

Mike’s the type of guy that you will get in a fist fight over how a certain technique You👊will👊use👊this👊trailer👊! This is me, still being stubborn while he’s beating me🫠. JOKING ONLY - Quit using downy if you're sensitive enough that this bothered you! Also, this would only happen with someone like me- a stubborn ass person. We would fight, he would be right but we would still be best friends at the end of the day. Thank you for taking the time to share your passion with us, I love it when someone is so passionate about something that it hits on a different level. Not everyone can handle it but that's alright, not everyone needs to be catching 10lbers.
