How does it connect to the battery? Is it just an Anderson plug? I'd like to be able to quickly disconnect one battery and plug in another battery for DC to DC charging.

You connect the unit via the internal primary connection posts. We provide a heavy duty set of cables for to do this. If you want to use a cable with an anderson plug then that is OK to as long as you use the correct internal inputs.

G'day joanna,when you open up the control hub you will see that all you have to do is connect the positive (red power wire) to the switches & all the accessories earth (black wire)should be earthed to battery/negative Hope this Helps Cheers Craig

G'day Logan,the usb's & cig sockets are pre wired for you already & are set to go straight out of the box ,you just have to wire up your accessory's to the switches

Absolutely, this standard version has the option to be hard wired directly to a battery or you can simply power by connecting trough one of the input / out put Anderson connectors. If you are looking at the version with the DC DC charger then you would need to connect directly to the battery.

Yes, you can mount a small inverter on the control hub. However it is generally good practice to hard wire your inverter directly to your battery.

Can i wire in a 3000w inverter?

No. Such a large inverter should be connected directly to your battery bank with heavy duty cables. Running a full 3000 Watt load will draw 275 Amps DC from you battery. You generally do not want anything between you batteries and your inverter with such a high load draw.
