The people who call vultures ugly they're probably ugly themselves you have to understand Birds obviously people who call them ugly don't understand Birds like I said those people are ugly but great video there Derek I loved it thank you very much for providing it .

It was so adorably cute how that Mangrove Swallow "tip toed" it's way down the branch to be closer to her mate 🥰. I think King Vultures, all Vultures in general, are beautiful in their own special way. Great footage!

I've been "watching" a baby vulture recently - someone I follow on social who is a wildlife rehabber... It's completely fascinating to realize the other facets of these birds that you'd never expect. Like finding out that (at least with the particular species this baby is) the parents spend a ton of time cuddling their babies! I don't know if that's also the case for King Vultures, but it wouldn't really surprise me, since I would imagine that like many of the larger meat eating birds, they don't lay large clutches and the young probably take a good long while to mature. They really are very fun to watch, too! And those colors are something else!

Vultures definitely get a bad rap, but they are really cool!

I have seen none of the species in this video, so it's nice to see some less familiar birds in motion instead of in a field guide! Great video, keep up the good work!

The king vultures are really pretty with all the colors. I think they would scare me up close, though, since I am guessing they are huge. Black and Turkey vultures scare me when they get too close and they are a lot smaller.
@BadgerlandBirding2 жыл бұрын
Haha they didn’t seem crazy huge, but definitely a little bigger than the other birds.

They call vultures buzzards in America? Completely different birds, ones a hawk (in America anyway) and the others are new world vultures.
