Want to get bigger payouts at the scrap yard? Take the electric motors, transformers (those little square things with wire) to the inside scales. Most scrapyards also have a separate category for whole transmissions. Aldi start cutting electric cords off so you can sell them as #2 insulated copper wire.

Also. Inside of fridges, there's a lot of copper and aluminum in the freezers. There's core for brake pads, transmissions and catalytic converters. Even aluminum cans are profitable. Not so much with plastic and glass. .

You can get a lot more for core on the transmissions. For scrap, they are only a few dollars. Core can be hundreds. I used to break down transmissions, until I discovered, I don't have to do anything to it and I could get way more money, with so much less work.

Motor. I think you need to invest in a winch. Either one mounted on the front bumper area or a portable one that has a bracket that fits over your hitch ball on the back. They have remote controls so you can stand outside and watch what’s happening. It would allow you to get some of the bigger stuff without having a whole crew with you. Some tree savers and a snatch block would be a good idea too. Harbor Freight has the portable winch at a decent price.

The cargo weight in the trailer needs to be mostly centered over the trailer axel with a little weight on the tongue. Never have the back over the trailer heavier than the front.

You really need to invest in a winch for the front of your vehicle and a cordless sawzall. You can cut the big stuff into smaller pieces to fit the trailer and make it easier to lift.
