Yum only a true trini knows about this since school days. Chow is a street food business now in Trinidad and even sold on motorbikes where you get different sauces with the addition of a salt prune if you like. You get any fruit chow so tantalizing

Texas born. I love the heat you used. Now what would be the best way, or thing to eat this with. I'm thinking maybe some greens. Some pork. Or marinating my flank steak in instead of my mojo. To make so great taco. Let me know sir..

There is a chow man in Carapichaima that sells tamarind chow. When I was in secondary school in 2018, he came to my school gate to sell during lunchtime and well..... he got a huge sale from us that day! Lmaoo. We were buying bag after bag! It was superrrrrr delicious and we were addicted! He ended up getting ran by our security guards and deans though because apparently, he didn't have a food badge to be selling to us.

I have a bad experience with mango chow. My great grandfather was from the islands but I grew up in England and was never really introduced to spicy food. Shortly before he passed away when I was about 5-6 years old I stayed at his house for a night for my parents to go out on a date. I couldn't really understand his accent and I asked him what was in a jar in his fridge. He said "it's mango chow" I thought he said, "It's mango child" ( He always referred to any kids as "child"). I loved mango and had never seen it like that before. So being the mischievous little shit I was; when he was in a different room. My hands were right in that jar. My mouth was on fire right away. I figured if I ran crying to him that I would get in trouble. So I just ran to the bathroom and locked myself in and pretended to be having a shower. After drinking a metric fuckton of tapwater, I was finally okay again. However, when you drink a lot of water you need to release it.. You can figure out yourself what happened. To end it all, I did get in trouble. In my haste to hide, I left the fridge door wide open and the jar uncapped.
