This van setup is truly brilliant! For a single person, I would lower the bed and make it a single. Then I would put vertical cushions in the back of it, so that it works as a couch/bed. Then I would buy six cases of soup at Costco. Make 200 sandwiches to put them in a big freezer along with some frozen veggies. For dinner I would heat the soup and veggies in a small microwave and heat up a sandwich. Inexpensive van build and an inexpensive lifestyle. Wow that sounds like freedom! I've built two vans over the past few years. They had everything from shower to built-in kitchen and all the amenities. I plan on retiring in about a year or two and looking for a van now to build out for myself and travel. This is exactly what I would like to do! It's going to be very minimal but still very comfortable. Thanks for the video!

This. This is what I have had in mind for some time, and there are so few examples of other people's on KZbin that are minimal like this, they all seem to have fitted ovens, fridges, storage units, toilets, showers, fitted lighting and power, media centres, game consoles etc. I want a van that can be a...van; a family day trip vehicle for two adults, two kids and a dog; a holiday tourer for the family loaded with tents and camping gear; or a camper for two like this. I want it to be cost effective, light weight, modular and removable. This is perfect, the only things I would change are the things they mentioned themselves, insulation, extra windows and maybe a fan/window in the roof.
