I love Stalker man. I blew my foot up in a motocross accident like 4 years ago. I was off my feet for 7 months and only had an old PC with an RX570 and my Xbox One for entertainment. My GF at the time was awesome about me just taking it easy. So I started with editing her tiktoks and stuff then finally I stumbled onto a video about a free open world survival game and found Anomaly. Man, I must have 10,000 or more hours by now. I'm a single dude now who works 12 hour days and loves just coming home to escape in Stalker. I have my own modpack now, based of GAMMA, first thing I removed was the economy with Blackmarket Traders. You can't buy the arsenal of the Ukraine Army or anything but you can still find a decent a gun to buy if you're feeling wealthy. I've also made some friends in the modding community, LUN4T1C being a favorite dude, he put so much work into his mods I just appreciate the work and detail. I understand the OCD he's got with them because I can't put my TV on a volume with an uneven number. But I've released a few sound mods of my own, making campfires louder, better sounds for walking through water, and I think an ACOG reticle overlay that is same as my ACOG's irl. Stalker never ends. I have a strange feeling with Stalker 2 on the horizon, we still have a loooooong time of Stalker Anomaly. S2 being on Unreal yeah eventually everything will be replaced with the modern, but it's going to be a while. I'm glad everyone else finds this game as amazing as we do. The Stalker Anomaly team deserves so much credit, the modders deserve so much credit like LUN4T1C, and the boys working on modded EXEs, the hard work of Grok and his crew, there's just so many guys who deserve so much credit. Finally I know a lot of people kinda shit on the more popular people like Grok and Maid and stuff. I get it, I've been offended myself by the reactions I've gotten by questions I've had. Or opinions. But at the end of the day, gotta remember these guys cant log into their own creation without being bombarded by questions, some simps sucking up, ect ect. But they really do work hard at what they love, which is the same thing we love. And I get their frustration as well as yours. But her, I'm rambling on. Maybe I should make a video with my own experience. In the end I'm just happy so many people get to enjoy the same thing I do, and basically none of us have the same game lol.

Mate thats an awesome story of how you got in to it. I had the same thing with DayZ when I hit a crappy spot and just had time to kill. These games can literally be what keeps you going sometimes. The stalker modders all deserve allot more credit for what they have pulled off. Its actually insane and im suprised its not talked about more in the gaming industry just how talented these guys are. I didnt realise people shit on those guys tbh haha you cant have a product like that without having some serious passion and commitment to the community! Amazing video and vibes! Loved the editing style! Seeing Sidorovich's face always hit differently. It meant safety, when everywhere else meant death. I *highly* recommend people to try Hardcore out (even if you give yourself more lives during character creation). It sounds like just a "simple change", but it completely changes how everything feels. Everything feels riskier and the rewards feel more rewarding.

EFT stands for escape from tarkov. basically the mod adds the first person hand animations from tarkov to stalker anomaly.it's for immersion and not really needed if it breaks something i do believe.

Only 3k subs? The editing is on point, music is amazing. Gameplay looks awesome. Only thing I could possibly recommend, if there is some sort of way to improve the lighting during the nighttime portions of the video when you arent using nvgs or a flashlight, it is very hard to make out much.

I remeber the first time I set out to try an journey to the CNPP In gamma, had decided to go through Pripyat and Hospital, had been to Pripyat before but the hospital first a first time experience aswell. It was a breathtaking experience, sat in complete silence for multiple hours, slowly going through the areas and exploring, letting the immersion take full control, the whether was perfect, rainy thunderstorm at night. loved every moment of it, really wish you could get that first time experience back.

If you are a fan of stalker I'd also recommend checking mods like Winds of Time, Goldsphere, Fallen Star, Incubator, Spatial Anomaly and Dreamcatcher (the most recent one and imo the best of the lot). They are story driven and are very atmospheric, they recreate that feeling of playing a stalker game - uncovering the secrets of the zone and exploring the unknown. Cheers!

Idk, i tend to get bored fast but i've been playing/ moding Stalker game since their inception , stopped for almost a decade and then discovered GAMMA . It left me in awe and completly OBSESSED . i' ve spent around 400/450h in GAMMA over the course of two years, just grinding the game's mecanics and wandering around . And your video is a wonderfull hommage to the work that as been done to make this modpack. Superbe.

This is so similar to my experience! I ended up changing the weapon looting, quick save, and fast travel settings to be more forgiving, and that made my first playthrough really enjoyable.

Crazy how a perfectly good weapon in the npc's hands instantly turns to trash when it hits the floor. Realistically if the npc has a shitty weapon they have to have the same negative effects as the player would.

You can actually fix that if you go into the pause menu and look in your mod options for a tab called “drop conditions” you can edit the loot quality from in there to make it more fair. I only recently got into Gamma and figuring that out has changed my experience with the game. I have mine set to where trainees and rookies can drop shit loot but not often, and high ranking STALKERS have completely pristine gear when killed

The only time I tried to play modded STALKER came and went when I was excited to try it in Clear Skies, fumbled the install somewhere along the way and the game didn't even try to open without a crash. Maybe it's time to try it out again because this looks phenomenal.

in the settings you can change the "brokenness" of the guns novice stalkers drop compared to expert ones. In my opinion it helps alot with immersion of having proffessional stalkers drop a completly broken ak while still having the low tier ones bringing their old babushkas double barrel

Great cinematics! Before changing the mods, all you need are the toolkits! You can even trade for the first one. After that make the proper repair kit A,B,C ect and use that to "maintain parts" on your gun and replace the barrel or any part that you cant find or repair. Presto you get a good working gun. After that just maintain it and search for the next higher up tool kit. Good hunting!

@@CLIKRAD Yeah the higher tier toolkits are random chances. Some playthroughs are just testing your patience. I try to push north as soon as I get the psi helmet and avoid red forest and radar at all costs. In Jupiter and Zaton I grind all the fetch tasks I can to spawn stashes and with a little luck you get advanced tools (and good but broken loot you can then fix). With that you can manage most of the game and craft some good artifacts to help you. Pro tools can be a pain. I usually get lucky in outskirts after a while. Btw basic tools can be "traded" at yantar research and the rookie village in cordon.

that game is truly amazing.. the only thing it lacks a bit is explanation, a breadcrumb trail for the "main story".. If you've never played it before, you may be a bit lost with who you have to talk with to progress or even start it... oh and press left alt when you loot corpses and boxes, it takes all loot, deconstructs what has to be deconstructed and takes good parts from guns (you'll have to deconstruct guns yourself to get barrels and metal parts). And, most importantly : DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE CRAFTING ! G.A.M.M.A is focused on it, it will greatly affect your gameplay, from making ammo, to meds, to guns, even making food will greatly affect your gameplay

Yeah I made that mistake for the first 10 hours! It’s almost entirely based around the crafting! Yeah abit of a sense of direction would probably help new players but then again, google is your friend and it’s a mod not an actual game I suppose.

@@CLIKRAD Most people, when they haven't read the desvription and story of the mod before getting it, will try to play it like a normal STALKER game, but yeah they shouldn't.. that game is almost entirely based around crafting and components for progress.
