I'm going to leave the bone on and eat it like a cave man! Ahhh, when you actually cook a steak and it's juicy instead of the blood fooling people that theirs is juicy because of all the blood. And then the rare and medium-rare crowd has to chew theirs like gum because it's not cooked and it's all rubbery. Hahahah, they have no idea. Chefs have fooled them into liking uncooked steak because most cooks don't want to spend the time and effort to cook it right and it still be juicy. Most can't do it without overcooking it or undercooking it. I think some burn it and overcook it on purpose when I order a cooked steak. I can cook a steak at home that is well-done and soooooo juicy. Most chefs suck. You're pretty cool, man.

I do believe! Tried this recipe and made me a convert! Thank you! Used a slightly adjusted seasoning, cooked on natural gas grill and aimed for 140ºF internal temp. Perfectly medium-med well. Tender. Delish. Credit due to the AAA beef cut also. 😋 😋 😋

The sensual R&B beat playing in the background while cutting the steak really set the mood. 😂😂 135 is the temp I like for my steaks too, it's the perfec middle ground temp, not too rare and not well done.

I Am 56 and I have a charcoal grill and a smoker and a Blackstone and the Man cooks steak very similar to me. I like mine rare also. Hard to change people that want it well done. So much better and not dried out at all. I cook Lamb the same way and also Venison. Pork and chicken I cook a little longer. I agree you can’t have the grill too hot for steak and especially one that think. You keep cooking and I will keep watching. The stuff you cook looks perfect to me.

I have a pellet smoker. I do a reverse sear. I slow cook at 225 until an internal temp of 110 ° then I seat it for 1 minute per side . It’s a perfect medium rare every time. I use salt , Lawrys season salt , and garlic powder. I finish it with Parmesan garlic butter. It’s perfect every time

I would have thought 135° would be more well done than that. It looked good though. I am cooking a bigger tomahawk for the first time tonight. Usually I'd pull ribeyes at 120ish. Is it because it's bigger? Or is 135 more like medium compared to a medium. Rare?
