Psychologists do a medical diagnosis, therapists kinda... talk the problem better, personally I’ve tried both and several therapists at that, and to certain types of people they are useless. Friends can be better in so many ways, they have a real connection and understand of you and your life and have genuine intentions to make you better. No matter what, I know that the relationship between me and my therapist is monetary. In fact I could say making friends would be a goal that therapy would seek to achieve. And being alone for a while helps me too. You’re not the only person in the world??
