for all selectors (im not expert meta player and also its made by personal experiance and heard things) beginer: u must pick pulse or lumi. Pulse if u go fire wata and not got nanamech on standard or lumi if u got stigmata lumi have more value, but she replaced like 6 month later with alisa and also can cope with sss eclipe. so need to deside 2 of them. novice selector(a reward of FOS): the most valuable is rigor cuz literaly physical is not right without ss+sig rigor and also even on cn not replaced yet. Also can use bambi(A rank ice) and with astral(A rank dark) until we got lamia and qu. so luna and plume is not nessesary but nice to have. upcoming selector: if u have hyper and otherway got a garnet can pick fire liv, but Garnet have more value by Crimson weave. also have novice 6* weapon selector(a reward of FOS ) and also most valueable weap is gungir(rigor weap)

​@@darius8068Mostly agree here. Adding to it, all teams except fire have A rank variants in the game currently. They are not competitively viable in the endgame but they can fill niche you dont have yet. You can substitute the characters out for S rank omns as you get em. For example, Lightning team of lucia dawn, chrome archlight and liv lux, replacing membera if/when you get crimson weave, vera garnet and feral scent respectively

One thing worth noting is that New players have to rush lvl 40 immediately for the Event Material farming section. This is especially important as it is the go to way of getting everything for Character Progression, which the fastest 40 route is 2 days while maximizing Guide missions. You also forgot to mention the importance of Operation Guardian as a source of Commandant XP, Blue Cards, and Serum. Also for Story Progression, once you build 1 full team with 6* Memories try to push as high as possible pref around 8-12 as Promotions are also locked behind Story. Another trick with lvling up memories is prioritizing Bottom Row (4, 5, 6) slots only as they give Atk and Def. You don't need Crit for Element based teams and HP is not important if u matrix properly.

I just started today, which characters would you recommend for the future? I’m not worried about it too much rn as I need to hit lvl 40 it seems first and reach far into the story before any of it matters. A week from now I’ll have an S rank selector for a character and weapon, on top of the one they initially give you. I’d like to have a solid setup between everything they are giving maybe a month from now or so. I also know that they are giving like 2 more S rank selectors next patch, which blows my mind. All the previous gachas I’ve played have never been so generous lmao. Also, is this current character out good or is this hype crimson weave person coming out next patch better?

The current patch ayla is very good DPS for ice team but the problem (for f2p players at least) the next upcoming banner is alpha crimson weave, which is a lightning DPS and by far the strongest of all currently available character for 1 whole year ahead So I'd recommend saving for crimson weave instead, which is better investment, even though the current patch ayla is also very good

Thanks for this guide! Glad i didnt do any mistakes!!! Playing now for 15 days and im at 15.820 bc with 4676 event tickets this equals to 20.496 bc! Surprised how much u get when starting out! Also here some things i did in these 15 days: - invested only in the 3 starter chars with lucia being the most invested with full reso set. - spend an insane amount of time in recitativo di fantasia (12k points away from unlocking selena capricio) - progressed as far as i could in story (currently in ch 12) - spend some time in dorms to get a good routine going to maximize decor coin gain and get every dorm to at least to 1300 stats to get daily gold coins - farmed the event only to farm memories and resonance for lucia lotus FUTURE PLANS Saving for lightning team mentioned in the video Saving my blue tickets to use them when they implement the one time rate up selection to get bianca stigmata Maybe this can be used as referance for new players who start now! Also: look for an active guild! The people are friendly towards new players! They explained to me the dorm system^^

I suggest just spend Ur basic tickets so will know the type of team u re building and so u will know who u will get from the two S selector packs given to u for free. Like me I started like 3 weeks ago and shockingly got Bianca stigmata from the basic banner so I decided to get Liv luminance and rotta rigor from the selectors and so far I have gotten 20 pull worth of basic ticket so far so after pulling so don't worry on not having enough to pull on the selector banner cause its still months away (July) so u will gather enough from just playing.

Hello friend! I started 15days ago as well, I thought I'd give you some tips that I learned as well.. First, Don't progress story right now since next patch we can do story without using serum! Secondly, For the dorms, Do the Cyberegg strat! Which is you build objects then turn them all to Cybereggs from buying Cyberegg blueprints =D that way your dorms stats skyrocket! Thirdly, I don't recommend skipping Hyperreal if you care at all about meta since your fire team in comparison will suffer drastically if you don't pick him up now! And I agree that Guilds are amazing.. The community is super nice to us new players, I hope we can all enjoy this game for a long time =D

another way to get stigmata with 100% is on june 2024,she will come on different banner which similar like standard banner,but doesnt carried the pity (like a totally new banner,but works like standard banner)which is use standard ticket. you get her in 60 pulls

@@balfash9373 Just wait. I've been burned twice by the 70/30 banners since I started playing a year ago. One of them was bad enough to almost make me want to quit. If you lose the 70% it's a lot of resources (almost two months FTP) that you lose on a character you may not want or need another copy of. Only do the 70/30 banners if you're whaling or a dolphin at the least. Avoid them as a FTP.

I like that type of character a lot even in anime( sword users). Then I got her on literally my 5th pull😭😭. I am so happy right now. 7 days of playing, i managed to get lucia and hyperreal, both of then already have 5 star weapons for now and their respective reccomended sets, i endend up pulling hyperreal cuz i was already investing on his banner since the beginning, before searching a lot, at the time i just knew that the best place to use the black cards is on the tremed event banner. Didnt have any luck, ended up getting him with 60 pulls, a lot of black cards invested, my plan now is to save as many black cards i can until lucia crimson weave comes out. Unfortunatelly i messed my first S rank selector, picked a power creeped frame, but at the time i was just starting the game and didnt even watched any videos of which construct to pick, so for any new player that end up reading this comment, when you get a s rank selector, weather it is a weapon or construct selector, always do some research before picking, even if you just want to have fun, its always good to expand your knowledge about the game.

the concept of openly admitting the older characters are 100% power creeped and unusable is baffling to me. I was enjoying the guide and srsly considered playing this game up until the last parts of the video when he discussed the meta. I was hoping to get a few select characters because I fell in love with their design and VA, so when he said new players should forget about them and just pull for this lucia chic because "meta" I was demotivated on the spot. Not touching this game if it's this unfriendly to new players, and limits player's choice in character usage.

From the event shop: from the main screen> go to battle > limited event> Event Shop at the bottom left corner> then pick "special" from the categories> then filter at the bottom The un memories are those hexagon shapes, you can check specific memory builds in grey ravens web or search up guides for that specific un

Very good guide! Just a couple of extra pointers regarding the selectors which I disagree with as a slightly more experienced player (1 year+), for that beginner S rank selector (Luminance, Ember, Entropy, Tenebrion & Pulse) it's not advisable to select anything other than Luminance or Pulse with the meta in mind (with Luminance becoming less and less of a priority as the Alisa Echo patch gets closer). The reasoning for this is because with Entropy and Ember, their damage in higher difficulty content will not be sufficient to keep up with other players in competitive modes (Warzone and Phantom Pain Cage) going forward and with Tenebrion it's much more efficient just to grab the A-rank 21 and use her as the dark tank (a bit of farming needed to get her to SSS but it's much more accessible than getting Tenebrion to SS which is where he becomes slightly better than 21 in terms of dark element debuff performance). By not selecting the 3 I mentioned in the above statement it will be much more beneficial for a new account as that will give a much bigger head start since Pulse and Luminance (Pulse especially as she's a fire tank in which there aren't many other options for) will still be somewhat valuable to a new player with no units. Also with regards to pulling attacker units and not having other supporting units to build them up, ideally it is good to have a support/amplifier and tank available to back up the attacker. However, for the purposes of playing long term and having units available, it's still best to pull those S ranks anyway as the opportunity cost is greater in the long term for skipping that unit than if someone were to just pull the unit on release. (Speaking from experience by skipping Scire for Glory on her release). Other than that you pretty much covered everything else correctly in this particular guide. For the Lux bit I'm glad you brought up that part with 21 as a lot of people forget that and Lux in terms of support capability for Garnet and Crimson Weave isn't a huge increase just due to how the latter 2 play and Lux not being able to buff their damage optimally. (Yes I do not like the small summoning circle that Lux drops for 5s).

Some tips for rushing 40 pity on standard coming from someone in the process of rerolling for bianca stigmata, if you play properly you can reach the pity at day 2 if you play and complete the guide missions as it zooms you to 50, however if you do everything and i mean everything possible you can hit pity with around 7 hours of play at lvl40 minimum

Something this guide doesn't explain is that you can get most of your character level materials and equipment from the event shop. So make sure to put all of your stamina into the event currency stages when you unlock the event menu

One thing I wanna share, is the golden trio in PGR don't necessarily have to be the *attacker* - *tank* - *healer/amplifier* Because there are a lot of cases where your dps is not an attacker, your tank is not even a tank, and your healer is nothing else but for qte. So there are times your team could consist of a tank/amplifier as dps, another tank as shredder and in niche circumstances even an attacker is better, and your qte bot can all be an attacker, tank, or healer depending on your circumstances. Btw they are called qte bot because they're literally treated as bots, you don't switch them in, there would be no difference even if the construct and it's mems are only lvl 1(to an extent because in very high difficulty and/or demanding modes, you need the stats from leveling them up), and there are times they're only used for the qte buff and nothing else lol. Basically your team is the trio *dps* - *shredder* - *qte* *bot* rather than the *attacker* - *tank* - *healer* This is just to account for the circumstances I listed above. Slowly but surely, teams of each element are getting completed, so these avant-garde teams are getting reduced patch by patch, but they won't be gone that's for sure. And there are times where you actually need your tank for tanking or stalling enemies, and healers for healing so you don't die cuz you're a butter inside a furnace called Babel Tower. Alright that's pretty much it, sorry if this was too long. I just wanna share this for new players to get a more thorough idea of how team building works in PGR.

Man.. if only this guide was out just ~3 weeks earlier when I started. I grinded this game 'til I'm lvl. 72 now but along the way I made some "mistakes" that made me feel like I wasted resources. I spent ~5k black cards pulling Selena Tempest because I really like her (lost the 80/20 to Pulao the first time AINTNOWAY) only to later discover that this isn't recommended.

Uns are pretty cool tbh. I joined the game when Noan was featuring and he became my fav electro-character (as newcomer's account and now lvl95). Yes, they are hard to lvl etc, but that is fun + they can deal really high numbers when finishing moves and additional skills are opened. Like... they allowed me to join Ultimate PP Cage (Camu x Noan is an amazing team) and I use them for WZone when any of my elemental teams are too weak (ice is so bad in PGR, honestly). It mostly depends on element tho. Deffo not good for ice and fire (Ronald is cool but tricky to play, not as good as Lee HR and too much pain to develop him). But for dark (I don't have Luna and don't like Kamui's mechanics, so there is no really good Omni team suitable for my needs) and electro (both Noan and Selena are cool) - amazing; Pulao is also alight, but Omni physical characters are the best/strongest/best-built in PGR, so no need to focus on her. And I would say there is some point to invest in all Lucia's versions - her skills are cool and quick (I only don't like Plume mechanics so don't have her), nice for both electro and fire (there are not many valuable fire characters, esp within A-class) - she can be used on many stages and can last till pretty 'old' lvl/rank'ed profile. Vera (A) is a must of course... but ok I'm a simp here, so can't be trusted :D

So I decided to make a brand-new pgr account on january 2nd 2024. I can confirm that as of today, I have 19k BC and 5k event construct ticket in that account just by only grinding pretty much 1-2 hours everyday on pgr. So the thing that the video said where it's viable to collect your resources enough to guarentee getting alpha crimson weave in the upcoming patch (possibly in february) is true and valid. Great video.. just one thing .. the Arrival Construct and Fate Arrival Construct banners can give you any S rank , not just the other 2 that you can select. I know this to be true because Ember was not on the last rotational Arrival Construct banner with Capriccio (I was rolling for capri) and I ended up pulling Ember at the 30% rate and she was not one of the 3 that could be selected.

Honestly, I started this game cause Alpha cw and now she’s already SS and I buy her demon skin too😌.. she’s damn good and also bianca alter too, getting her coating which look so good😊 I play both TW and global server as TW is my main acc and global just casual acc.. this game really is enjoyable and so great.. looking forward for qu new frame and watanabe new frame too.. 4th anniversary coming in and I know I’m gonna get that bianca, alpha and lamia new coatings😂 and luna new frame with new element? Wow Kuro games honestly the best.

Thank you for putting this video out, Connor! The main question I have is I want what attracts my eye, but is also powerful. I just started today and managed to get Bianca-Stigmata for my first S rank. I've been told about a new Bianca releasing that's supposed to be amazing, along with a snow skin that I want. So here's my dilemma. I want the Bianca setup. I want Ayla because she's hot. I want that Crimson Lucia because she looks PHENOMENAL. What is the actuality of me being able to get all of them, being F2P or a low-spender? I don't mind spending money, but I have no idea (yet) how expensive this game is compared to Hoyo games. Does $60 guarantee a character or is it more like $200 = 60 pulls?

Very helpful video dude!! I started playing again once I was shown Balter on one of my stream, since I am a massive FGO Salter & Artoria fan and was shown the coating she will be I was sold. So Ive been saving to get Balter, I was thinking I'll need to run 21 for the OTE dark dmg buff but am wondering who else I will need for my team comp and who I will want to try to replace 21 with or if she will be a good enough OTE support for Balter

Just to be clear all the characters just have a certain starting rank thank makes them better than others but all characters can be upgraded to the s ranks to essentially be on the same lvl as the others? It would jus require more resources/ shards to evolve them to that rank?

Hi! I just started this game and while i could figure out most of it on my own(just hit lvl 30 btw) its nice to see a video about it just to see what i could get. I got both Liv's btw through some insane luck as well as nr 21, couse she SO much fun! I do enjoy the game so far, though the story not having any voice acting does make it alot less enjoyable then i thought it would, but then again Honkai Impact 3rd might have spoiled me in that aspect. Any suggestions on how to power up your characters btw? couse it seems very dependant on your equipped memories.

Just reinstalled, last played when Black Rock shooter event was up I just picked her up and dipped tbh. Before that I got Nanami Starfarer and fell off. I was building a dark team and I really liked Lamia so I pulled her and I like her, hopefully I didn't curse my account with pretty feesh
