At the beginning of my 8th grade, (I can wear makeup at my school) I wore a little bit of bronzer, concealer, powder and mascara. I was told by my classmate that I "wore too much and they could see it" I was really insecure about my makeup and only wore mascara and a bit of powder. this look has really inspired me to wear what I want because I think that this look is beautiful! love you bella!

I just read the comments and it's so weird how some people in different countries aren't allowed to wear makeup to school? That is so new to me because here in Norway there are no limitations. And some people even get suspended for wearing makeup?! How is something applied to your face holding you back from being a good student...

+Reine des Tartes there is no "certain age" to get into makeup....sure 9 year olds wearing makeup is very early but you clearly know I meant teenagers. I'm almost 14 now and I wear makeup to school and I'm still the smartest kid in class and one of the smartest in my whole grade and get really good grades? Wearing makeup says NOTHING about you as a person if that's what you're implying. You may not have been into makeup until 23 but that is not the case for everyone. Also, makeup and boys are two completely different things. If you decide to focus on that instead of studies, that's a PERSONAL problem.

+Aaminah Qureshi because schools want you to focus on studying and accepting urself and work on your self steem. if they see you wearing make up and all that they might think you care more about how boys see you and your insecurities (i dont think make up represents low self steem but you know people sometimes think that sadly...). So they dont want girls to go to school with make up`because of that or also to attract guys etc:/ that's why they 'ban' it, i tell you this cause my school did it too.
