im shocked he went with a 9900k that poor cpu just itself turboing is probably gonna run at 90+C easily. But god damn will that little thicc beast destroy any console in performance and good lord that thing is god knows how many times more powerful the x runs like a gtx 1050 maybe 1050ti at best. The 2080ti is 421% more powerful than the 1050ti which is at best what the x runs at best. So its a major difference in performance almost ridiculous and that is just stock performance. That doesn't include the cpu over the crap cpu the x has which I wouldn't even know what to compare it to some old 4th gen amd apu for a laptop at best I wouldn't even know how much more powerful a 9900k is. Easily a few hundred percent more powerful than the x cpu. Ram wise he went 16 I think so still more than a console but running much faster double or more of the x. Storage wise nvme ssds are stupidly fast to the old 5400 rpm hdds consoels run let alone at 2tbs. I have a build like this with the evolv shift Im wanting to grab but this case releases in 10 days or something. I believe that build with 32gbs of the trident z royal at 3200mhz I have plus a aio push pull h80i v2. im also going nvme ssd from Samsung 1tb and a 4tb ssd from Samsung. With windows 10 pro. And obviously these parts aren't all at the best cost I can get them cheaper in other areas etc but with all of this I hit 3289.91$ which would be around the 2900-3k mark if I got everything at their best price. So yeah.

Stop looking at teraflops for performance console hardware is much weaker than pc hardware by far its no where near as efficient. You can look at the real performance and test them.

@@yulfine1688 The Xbox one x definitely competes with a 1060. I have a 1060 computer and it's in line with what the Xbox does graphically. The Xbox plays a few games at 4k 60fps such as Forza 7, and i can't even get that to happen. I can although play it at ultra on 1080p at around 90 - 100 fps. But it's definitely in te same level as the 1060

I don't think you're entirely wrong, but you could still call this a console killer. A big reason people opt out for consoles is because of the footprint. I however don't get why the myth that you can get console performance on PC for less still continues and its often used as a 1 up in console gamers arguments. But why is anyone surprised? PC hardware has a higher starting cost because starter PC hardware has higher starter performance. Console hardware has a lower starter price because of the lower starter performance. When all is said and done, you're simply getting what you've paid for. The cost of a high end PCs will look higher or lower depending on a simple matter of patients. If you're on a budget and want to game right now, then yeah console is gonna seem like a great deal, but if you want the highest gaming quality and are willing to wait, its within reach even on a very low income. I'm sure we all buy shit every day we really don't need, instead of buying it, put it towards PC hardware.

I'm all for PCs and I stopped gaming on console a long time ago but building a $3000 pc to outperform a $500 ps4 pro giving 4k 60fps and telling that pc master race is the best isn't really fair. Only a 2080/2080ti can give 60fps at 4k(not consistent with fps drops in some areas). So for budget 4k gaming, nothing can beat a console. I'm not supporting console because I'm a pc gamer but I'm just telling what's true. Don't @ me.

Not that it matters because it's an overkill build, but the PS4 Pro's MSRP is not $500. It launched at $400, and can be easily found tgese days for $350 with a game and sometimes even at $300 (only console), in the U.S. The Xbox One X was launched at an MSRP of $500, but now can be regularly found at $350 with one or two games, in the U.S.

I guess the only part about this build that could be considered on par/console killing is that it's practicaly the same form factor. I'm thinking that the title of this video is meant to be a joke. Rocking this case rn with a Ryzen 5 5600x and an RTX 3060 Ti. CPU runs hot though while gaming even with a noctua nh-l9a-am4 cooler. 80c above while gaming. Within expectations though and the 5600x is rated for 95c.

The 10 series did a very similar thing to the 9 series but people praised it. So its not hard to say that he was being stupid not to mention the whole war on trade going on in the first place as well as prices of everything shooting up everywhere so the fact that the cost went up to match the inflation in the market plus the whole trade war crap etc yeah it was no surprise they went up in cost. The 2080ti is one thing you can slander for cost because it was suppose to release at 999$ at msr and it didnt. Not just that but it should have released probably more like 899$ msrp not the what 1200 or whatever its at now. The titan card was built specifically for cad systems etc the big difference being it has more tensa and rt cores for ai etc which is what nvidia was building and testing and researching those cores for. It just so happened the apis of even amd have the ability for ray tracing and its been there for decades its that no one decided to risk anything because of the power it requires not just that but the cost of developing specialized cores to work with game engines and then game engines that can even support it in the first place. You can basically see it as a new technology when it really isn't in fact its stupidly old. But the cost and reinvention of it so to speak is another factor. It literally takes one using your brain for a few seconds to realize something and b if you dont know literally a quick google will tell you. It really doesn't take much to use your brain to figure something out rather than slander someone for doing something. Every major tech and small tech tuber did that it makes no sense to me that none of them could use their brain at all. Consumers these days are far too uneducated to understand anything anymore or are intelligent enough but dont care because they are too greedy themselves.

Don't get the people in the comments. If we analyze the claims made by multiple sources, this PC is about twice the GPU performance of Xbox Series X, which makes it 4 times Xbox One X. With all the benefits that save you a lot of money, in my opinion it's more than worth it. A year and it all pays off. Up to 50% saved on all the games you buy from different stores. Way more freedom. Ability to use anything for your games, nearly any controller, and hundreds of variations of keyboards. Ability to upgrade a lot of stuff overtime, even with the limited space. Ability to emulate hundreds of games from nearly all existing consoles up to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and ability to play older games from previous generations, at way better quality that the backwards compatibility consoles provides, if they even do. Plus you don't have to pay to play online, and you can do nearly everything you could possibly need on it. Anything from simply watching movies to editing 4K photos and videos. In my opinion it's worth the ~$2,600-~$2,800 it costs.

Imo there isn’t a pc that can be a console killer. I have an Xbox one x and have just bought all my components for a PC build which I’m so excited about. The console though for its price is way better suited in my opinion to sit under my tv. It has a 4K ultra player and all the apps like now tv and Netflix etc. Then with a hangover I can sit and chill and game on the comfort of my sofa. My PC will be when I want to have a serious gaming session with better FPS and graphics capabilities. Can also use it better for the internet, emails etc and office apps. There is room in our lives for both.
