In any game, not just WoW, everyone has build guides. But it's rare to get someone who explains HOW to play. And the thought process behind the decisions you make during combat. That is the stuff that really makes videos stand out to me.

True People tell you "You need this Talent tree, you need this particular gear (because meta) and you need this and that and this and that" Especially on retail it sucks as a "new player" to see this, copy it and still have no clue what you are doing actually. Esfand does a great Job on all of his guides.

I used to watch Esfand back when he streamed at a football stadium, dude was just cool and down to earth. I don't follow him much these days, he kinda outgrew what I initially watched him for, but he seems like a good dude so it's good to see him still going.

I haven't played WoW in years and don't plan to ever play again but I miss the Paladin class. WoW has been the only game that I've played to capture the Paladin essence in terms of feeling capable as a solo fighter in the world.

Choosing your role, choosing your professions, deep dive into rotations for each spec and why, your role in dungeons vs raids vs pvp, the sky is the limit

Exceptional video, Esfand. The best one you've made. This video is practical, insightful, helpful, and genuine. I learned a lot of things in this video, and I've been playing WoW since March 2005 Vanilla. I recently quit retail in June 2022 due to the absurdity of mythic raids, but I've been thinking of coming back to try Classic for the first time. When Classic first came out during Battle for Azeroth, I didn't go try it since I was busy leading our guild and raid team. Anyways, these kinds of videos are way better than the "dinking around" videos that most people create. Those are fun, too, but this video has some real meat to it. It's always great to hear from seasoned, experienced WoW players who have been around the block, especially those who were "hardcore" back in Vanilla and progressed through all of it. The perspective is invaluable. Very enjoyable. I'm relatively new to your channel, although I heard of you some years ago.

More or less new to WOW and this has been hands down the most helpful SOD class guide I have watched. Going into a bit of detail regarding the "simpler" stuff that is likely second nature to experienced players is incredibly helpful. Can't tell you how many tutorials assume that you know a LOT about the basics of wow. Please keep them comin!!

This was great! I've played paladin since 2019's classic so I knew all of the info here myself, but it's also something I wish I had back when I was a new player in wow all the way back in OG BC. Very clear and concise. Something that was difficult to find for me in 2019 was a guide on how to seal twist effectively! That might be an interesting short video you could do.

This was honestly so helpful! I've played since WoW first came out and never leveled a classic Paladin before (the first time I ever leveled a paladin was in WotLK) and so far I'm having a blast! I think Crusader Strike really helps the experience in the early game. Excited to see more Esfand pally videos!

I've played since WotLK but I really liked how you had something for everyone, new players and vets. I learned things that I didn't know before. I hadn't necessarily played paladin in Vanilla WoW, so I really appreciate the simple things but also the more advanced things as well. Also, thanks for clearing up the Seal of Righteousness vs. Seal of the Crusader for us! I'd love to see more as we go through all of the phases of SoD.

Definitely keep making these types of videos. I decided to finally try wow bc of season of discovery and I started yesterday and decided to play a ret paladin, and being an entirely new player, not knowing the mechanics of the game, I died multiple times, in situations I normally wouldn’t have in osrs, which is my main mmo. Two very different mmos too fundamentally and control wise. After watching this and listening to your advice in detailing the skills and abilities and how they’re intended to be used in a rotation, now I understand what I was doing wrong, and can fix my rotation of skills while leveling instead of developing those bad habits that get hard to shake later on. I’ll be waiting for your next tips and guide video.

Finally, a guide from an exceptional player and a pally at that! For some perspective I was 47 in 2004 and played on and off since then but I am not a 'sweaty' player just love the game. So came back to 'season of discovery just yesterday and have forgotten more than I remember so Esfand thankyou for this and please continue with help for an old fella who has found rejuvenation in this great game

This was one of the best guides for a class in WoW that I've seen and perhaps partly explains why there are 1.5-4x more paladins on my server than any other class. Great work! My only request or critique would be to add chapters to the video.

Great guide! I find in classic the a macro for /judge and /cast seal of ### a huge play improvement. Judgement doesn't trigger the GCD and can be used in combination whichever seal you want to run a majority of the time.

Thanks for the video man. I'm levelling a Paladin for the first time ever in Season of Discovery. My fav class is Warrior, but this Paladin actually feels a lot better. I kind of dig the whole Seal thing when it comes to combat, it's pretty cool. I really look forward to levelling a Paladin now alongside my warrior.
