@ please. the learning curve from having a spaced out park with blueprint buildings to a custom made dreampark is very extreme. Knowing how to make buildings and rides maybe too difficult for a tutorial, but showing how to blend blueprints into the rest of a park would be better.
@TheLarknessMonster2 ай бұрын
I usually start with a fairly good sized plaza with a building in the center that goes about 1/4th-1/3rd out from entrance (this is your guest shopping/info center with 2-4 flat rides). Then I branch off with full sized pathways in branchs like off a tree trunk. My park currently has the main plaza and then one branch off to the right which circles back to the plaza on the left, continues straight down the middle and bends right a bit to where I'll make my water park and then continues around a coaster to a dead end in the right nearest corner which is another coaster. That's only using 20-30% of the map and I got plenty of expansion down the middle and entire left side.

You can use the path editor from the paths tab, on queue lines. Very simple way to square them off. Also allows you to make the queue thinner and thicker.

great tips!! But if I change the color of the flexicolor paths, the color is applied to all paths that can be adjusted. This cannot be undone. Even with a new savegame, the original color of the path has disappeared. So there is no reset button for the original color :-(

I'm completely new to planet coaster and had noooo idea what anything meant but when I would connect my queue paths or paths it would angled and it would look weird and I hated it. I started missing with some things and when I switched it to square it would connect more beautifully. So angle and square is how they would connect to other paths.

I keep telling people that paths are actually good. You just need to practice a bit. It SEEMS bad at first. Once you experiment a bit, it kinda slaps. It's a fairly deep and complicated system with a ton of options. Give it more than an hour before you call it bad. Lol.
@LeafProductions2 ай бұрын
That’s the issue I think. People are too quick to give up before they learn a new system. “If it were good, I would be able to do it instantly!” But that’s simply not true. To learn and appreciate something you need to spend more time with it. Nobody gets in a car and is expected to drive perfectly. Nobody picks up a pencil and draws perfectly. It takes time.

This is so true, it took me a little bit to figure out but it works fairly well imo other than the draw tool, that never does what i want it to especially with pools

The path menu is absolutly atrocious i freaking hate it. There are to many buttons and to many features and it is hard to keep track. Also it is definetly not made for pc. That is the worse part. It is with every button en every menu too. Also the scenery and the facilities and everything. Outside of that i really like this game. I came to understand the first planet coaster pretty good (i was never really a master builder or anything but i could find my way around it) and i hope i get that here too. But they GOTTA fix the menus otherwhise i won't be playing for very long. Not gonna lie. I really miss the Western Theme and the Pirate Theme from the last game :)
