Hello, I have a question. When I connected to FLX4 via wire to iPad, I couldn't use headphones output on FLX4, it is not working. I have speaker with 3.5mm Jack. So the speakers are connected to iPad. Speakers are working in this way but FLX4 headphone output doesn't. What is the reason behind this? I need your help.

Show my question is a little bit complicated here I want to ask you that if I plug in oh sorry let me tell you if I have all my MP3 or my music files on my laptop and I connect it to the ddj 😊 then if I play all my music and I sort my library from the laptop and I'm not use and hot use and make cool libraries and music playlist in nice shot my folders in record box should I keep doing that I plug in and play OR should I should I plug my USB in the ddj and then I would sort the library that way or should I plug in a USB in my laptop and then sort my directory and folder so basically question is 1. Should I keep my files on the laptop play from the laptop later exported on a USB to keep a backup and not use it 2. Plugin a USB directly in my laptop keep all my MP3 is there make the playlist on record box 3. Aur plug in the USB in the ddj and then to all the sorting in playlist

Thanks for the video. I’ve been playing around with a version of this (MacBook + ddj400) and it’s awesome for on the go. The only addition I’ve introduced is a little yamaha ag03 mk2 mixer which gives me better pre-amps for the mic and the ability to connect to bigger sound systems. It also can be bus/battery powered. An added bonus is that because my mic comes later in the chain, I can record a clean mix for Mixcloud or whatever. One question, do the speakers introduce latency? I’ve had some issues with Bluetooth speakers which makes them a bit tricky to rely for djing. Thanks.

Hi and thanks for your comment! Yes, you can cue each deck in your headphones as if it was a laptop. There are different ways you can record your mix. One of them would be to go from the RCA outputs of the controller into quarter inch inputs of an audio interface. The audio interface would allow you to both monitor the mix as well as record it. For an affordable solution, I recommend Focusrite Audio Interfaces.
