He claims he’s “new” to golf which in my opinion is EXTREMELY DISINGENUOUS. What new golfer you know has access to PGA Tour swing coaches and premier Country Clubs with Super Bowl Coaches (Norv Turner) as members??? Great videos but this guy is NOT bring honest about his origins. PERIOD

Awesome video. Really valuable information. If I could give you one bit of advice, and I understand its very subjective, but I would suggest not adding float and zoom or that 'handheld' motion to the camera. The most important part of your videos is the content, and moving the camera without purpose is a distraction to the viewer in my opinion. Please take that suggestion with a grain of salt, because I'm a bit hypersensitive to camera motion without purpose. That being said, your videos are golden. Thanks again for sharing.

Some players like to think more about the physical part and less about visualizing and the outcome. It depends on your personality and how your brain works best. Try not to just copy what someone else does. Do what works best for you. This is best golf instructional channel on KZbin right now!

In all my years of playing golf and now teaching golf i have to say this is the one of the top videos i have seen. Very technical and easy to understand i would say i personally do 80% of this but there where a few things i just didn't think about which was super cool and definitely will implement my self.Been having to many birdie opportunities missed that i definitely need to focus alot more on putting.Most golfers can improve their game by getting better at putting and short game. Thanks guys awesome video.😎

Following all of the scratch 2 scratch videos and the putting lessons are some of my favorites. The mental side of decent ball strikers, chippers, putters etc. is what separates us the most IMHO.. I am certain my brain has been getting in the way when I’m way off! I’d say after a round with ez 10 makeable putts for birdie and 0 birdies to show for it, that was it. Once you get inside the “Box”, you gotta let feel take over! Im gonna use the 3 ball drill to check my aim too! THANKS for the lessons!

Really loving your videos Jerome. I had always been an okay putter during my playing career (playing off 3 or 4 handicap) but I got to scratch working mostly on my putting and short game. The one thing I believe that got me to scratch most however is putting looking at the hole NOT at the ball. I now look at the hole when I put, on all puts long or short - sound crazy but for me it got me holing more puts and ultimately brought my handicap down to scratch. Have you ever tried it? It improved my speed control and felt more natural to me - you don't look at the ball when you throw it at an object, you look at the object to gauge the distance, so it's the same sort of theory I guess. I do agree with Derek when he says you must visualize the ball going into the hole. I do this and it really helps me. Many thanks and keep up the good work!
@johnanthony6092
@johnanthony6092 Жыл бұрын
Just a quick point. I'm not disagreeing concerning looking at the hole but it's a lot different to throwing an object. The object being thrown is in your hand meaning you know exactly where it is. If the ball were attached to your putter and you released the ball by (say) pressing a button on your putter then, sure, you wouldn't need to look. However, the ball isn't attached to you or your equipment. Think about football. When taking a penalty kick, is a player looking at the ball or the target at contact? What about a goalkeeper kicking the ball back upfield? Is he looking at the ball at contact or the player upfield? Now if the keeper throws it out he will be looking at the target player. Why? Because he has the ball in his hand and knows exactly where it is. Now I'm a reasonable putter and I tried the looking-at-the-hole method when putting and, damn, I'd be lucky to three putt it like that, never mind sink it! I'm not saying it's bad to look at the hole but I'm also not saying it's necessarily good, quite simply because it depends on who's doing the putting. It suits some, not others. It certainly doesn't suit me. When I putt I have a point around 6" in front of my ball and the centre of the ball has to pass through that point for my putt to be online. If I looked at the hole I'd miss a _lot_ of putts which I'd normally hole.

Jerome, I said this before and it is easy. Take 5 steps to the hole, take putter back 5” and use your regular tempo to see how short you come up. Then from the same 5 step distance, take it back 6”, 7” until you het 18” past the hole. Let’s say it takes 7” so for those greens, the speed is # of steps +2. Take it from 10steps away and you’ll see it will take 12” to get the ball just past the hole. Equation is different for different speed greens so adjust before playing on the practice green and ensure to keep the same tempo. If going up a standard slope or back down, just add or subtract the extra inches in the equation.

I really like the idea of a plain, white ball for golf. A player can mark their ball with their initials but when they tee off or are putting, the initials must be facing the ground. I agree with Derek; these lines on the ball are training aids and should be illegal, at least in the professional game.
