But melee hunters can pump out same damage with just 2 buttons. Many will stay melee

@@remyd8767 Yes, that is the issue. Melee is braindead spec compared to ranged and still does more damage with a lot simplier rotation. Only reason to switch to MM now is the feel or trueshot aura.

Hunter has been my go to class since I first started playing back in WotLK but in phase 2 of SoD I got frustrated with the direction of the class (having to pick between mele or meme spell hunter to be relevant in raid) so I swapped and went Resto Druid and healed for literally my first time ever and I've come to love the class and the spec. SoD specifically has made resto healing incredibly fun with runes like lifeblood/wild growth/effo. Who knows if I'll go back to maining my hunter but this video does have me a bit hyped so I'm leveling it to 50 and giving it a go as an alt. Congrats on 100k dude!

I was always a healing player, LK made me a main unholy dk, but I never stopped healing, in SoD I became a sick person who only plays hunter, I currently have 2 a melee and a ranged, so fking fun to play, and Of course, I always followed the guides and news on this channel, they helped me a lot with my gameplay, ty Sarthe

Hunter has always been my main in retail and now in classic (ranged hunter to be specific). I was pretty sad when melee hunters was pumping so hard and ranged was left in the dirt during P2, but I still played ranged after I got the gnomer weapon. I started off as ranged in P3 as well and been keeping at it. Finally the wait paid off! RANGED HUNTERS ARE BACK BOYS

Hunter has by far been my favourite class to play in SoD. I started in p1 as a druid because I usually always main hunter and wanted to try something different. Found myself leveling a hunter a few days before p2 dropped and have barely touched my druid since. BM in raids, MM offspec pvp and dungeons. Just won the ST BiS bow so loving MM atm

100% Favorite class in SoD is Hunter. Phase 1 and 2 were definitely a bit of a roller coaster, but I feel like Hunter now is in a good spot. So happy we're not forced to play "Mana Warrior." IMO only thing we're missing is either a Disengage, Aspect of the Turtle, or Binding Shot Rune. Praying for those at 60 :D

Best class before the hunter changes was shadowpriest for me. You actually had different buttons to press even if it wasnt alot of dmg. After playing the buffed hunter it feels like a real class again. Gratz on 100k!

Thank you for the guide, all info i needed is here! I really enjoy both rogue and hunter. But I kinda lean more towards mm hunter, how more complex it is. Really fun getting and trying out new runes. My main in 2004 was a hunter. I remember doing that epic bow/staff quest. Man, I can't wait for the end game content in SOD.

I run serpent spread in pvp, Sniper training could work, but most of the time I find myself having to relocate way too often. Thespread rune also allows you to have a quick burst combo with multi-shot > auto attack > chimera shot

In your Macro you have, /cast !Auto Shot, as far as my knowledge goes it does add a ~0.25s cast/delay time between your auto shots when you press/spam the buttons as this was "fixed" to do so due to macro abusing in tbc or did i miss something ?

Pro tip for the ammo: you don't need to carry all those mithril slugs to the Incursion vendor. You can leave them in your bank (or bank & bags mixed) and still trade them.

Favorite class has for ever been Hunter. First 60 back in 2oo5. I tried other calsses but always come back to it. I Just love the fantasy around it the skill expression in PvP (Ranged MM ofc). And thus I am so happy tha we are back now with MM and the new runes yeweheeeee.

Hard to tell what my favored class it, but i play a Mage for the first time in my life and a have a blast. healing is fun and dps is awesome too. I cant complain. The best thing about SoD is each Class is great at at least 1 one thing and all feel special in a way.
