(Possible spoilers, so watch the video first!) -The tv series was planned to have 26 episodes, not 24 -Xowar race wasn't implied to take place in the Bog of Murk -Thingamajig isn't explicitly Rayman's species name, it's just something some of the fans call him -Globber was a Java game, not a Flash game -The Rayman Legends toys-to-life idea might've been more than a joke in reality -The Red Drummer has 200 hp instead of 256 like I said -The scrapped Rayman M fish was a skin, not a character, and it was rejected because it was too different from the henchman base model

Hyper teensie is not gamecube exclusive, and this glitch works not only in the end credits. What you need to do is eject disk, wait teensie to stop and then insert it back

Have you not thought yet to sell Rayman Redemption to Ubisoft to make it an official and canon console game and perhaps work in Ubisoft Milan alongside Davide Soliani which are now more involved with Rayman?

I went to school for sound design, and at one point we started working out of a professional studio in Seattle. When the owner was showing us his workstation, he randomly clicked on a sound effect in his enormous library. It was the pirate footstep from Rayman 2. Needless to say, I did a double take.

a bit obscure but there is actually one real cheatcode for the PC release of Rayman 3, typing 'reverse' during gameplay mirrors the screen horizontally, though the controls are unaltered, as in the mirroring is purely visual and you can play mirror mode without any control confusions

This was an amazing iceberg. Loved every second of it, and it's always a good iceberg video when you learn something new. And yes, I would absolutely love to see a Rayman 1 Iceberg. That whole game has so many fascinating features and I would love to learn more about the Atari Jaguar version's various differences!

oh hey, finally a good rayman iceberg. I did make one as well, a while back, and it was quite similar to Rayman Universe one, I don't think I saw that one though. I did feel like my iceberg was lacking in entries, so I'm glad that someone with more knowledge on Rayman decided to add more. though I still do have some entries that weren't covered here: - Rayman 1 Expansions: pretty much all of those countless rereleases, mostly released in Europe, with level editor creations, different content packs n such. Just felt like it should be mentioned at least somewhere - Rayman 4 was cancelled due to Wii's release: this one isn't that much of a "fact", as much as a theory, though it still sort of makes sense. Essentially while Rayman 4 was being actively developed, Wii released, and higher ups at Ubisoft have decided to hop on the hype train of Wii and wanted to make a game for the Wii. This would explain why there's so much leftovers from the actual Rayman 4, including the fact that the combat is straight up still there, just disabled in the game. - Rabbids in Legends (already was mentioned) and Adventures: considering my doubts that many rayman fans actually extensively played Rayman Adventures, this one is pretty obscure, but there was an event in the game, where rabbids would appear on the stages as enemies, i'm pretty sure it was summer themed as well - Rayman 1 was barely playtested: I mean, I don't have *concrete* evidence, all I have is that I just heard someone saying that Ubisoft back then actually did not have any playtesters, but considering how unfair the game is at times, and how it's even worse in educational games, I'd say it's at least partially true - Cielle was repurposed for Barbara: I actually don't know if it was ever confirmed or not? But yeah, many suggest that Barbara is what originally Cielle would have been like - Naked costume in Legends from R4: As one of the final unlocks, you get the naked costume in Legends. But as it turns out, it actually originated in Rayman 4, which was discovered quite recently. - Plot inconsistencies: This one was actually in tier 1, since it's pretty much one of the very known things about rayman - there is no consistent plot between games and the setting changes each time - Wanna Kick Rayman: I put this one in tier 1 as well, just cus i find those animations pretty funny - Rayman Éducation: Cancelled educational game for the DS, not much to say here - French-only educational games: me when i go to the rayman wiki and look up the rayman games navibox and decide to add that to the iceberg - Legends Wii U exclusive features: This one was actually briefly mentioned, but yeah, Wii U has stuff that has never appeared again, even in the Nintendo Switch version, one of the players could control Murphy to do stuff like holding enemies or doing other things that can't be done normally, like killing grannies in the 6th world - Mr. Dark in Mini: This one is another from tier 1, it's just pointing out the fact that incredibly tiny portion of rayman fans has ever played Rayman Mini - Rayman Rush and M: Actually I guess due to this video, it should have been called Rayman Rush and Arena, but pretty much yeah, different titles of essentially the same game (Rush being for PS1, Rayman Arena is what the main game was called in USA, and Rayman M in Europe)

14:30 You forgot to mention that characters that appeared in Rayman 1 and later reappeared in Origins such as the magician and the photographer were redesigned and their species were changed from thingamajig to teensie. They really wanted Rayman to be the only unique type of creature after Rayman 1. Even though Betilla is a fairy, she doesn't have limbless hands and feet in Origins, so I guess Rayman is the only limbless character. BUT in the PS Vita of Origins, there's an unlockable cutscene of bald Rayman getting his helicopter, blonde hair and his gf or ex(?) shown in the cutscene is a thingamajig. I'm not sure if that cutscene is canon or not.

Did you know? Ubisoft sent the Rayman "trophy" model to Sakurai, expecting that he would make him a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, as well as Globox and Barbara. Sakurai didn't knew the intentions of the models, because they forgot to tell him that the models were for that intention in mind, so Rayman and friends were added in as Trophies. This kinda explains why Rayman is not the only one joining Brawlhalla, the Fighting Platformer available on Steam.

Kinda! The unused boss behaviour was found after I had made Redemption, but the guy always felt like it was supposed to be more than just an enemy, hence why he's a boss in Redemption.

I have a memory of Rayman 2 (PC), related to 1000th lum cutscene. For whatever reason, I one had a case of Razorbeard eating another yellow lum, due to repeating a cutscene, causing max. lum count to become 998. I don't know was this first ever video game glitch, I've ever seen, or is this a fake memory?
