I can't front I've been a fan of JRPGs and complicated games since I played FF7 when I was a young'n but as I turn 30 I need these videos and playthrough like videos to maintain my interest because I simply don't have the time. I need to make a living. That's the only reason I can't indulge in this type of stuff anymore even though it's probably in my top 3 things I like to do. I really appreciate channels like these so I can get a chance to experience it all even if it's second hand.

from SMT5 we know that the Nahobino are demons who merge with the human possessing their knowledge to become as gods, so could Baal Avatar Chiaki, Noah Isamu, and Ahriman Hikawa technically be counted as Nahobino? :p also funny that Hikawa went into the conception with a reason in place and the most prep work done yet was the last of the humans to actually summon his god

Chiaki, Isamu, and Hikawas demon forms are called Psuedo-Fiends. They're very similar but not the same.

No, they are pseudo-fiends. In order to be a Nahobino YHVH needs to be dead and you need to combine with a human who possesses your knowledge. The reason bearers are still human but adopt the power of either a demon or a God who sponsors their reason. But they are nothing compared to a Nahobino or True Demon.

You did a really good job on this recapitation! I like how you incorporated the Freedom and Demon endings in this recap despite ultimately going with the True Demon Ending. I also really liked how you approached both Dante and Raidou's presence in this game. EDIT: one more thing. I'd love to see you recapitate both Digital Devil Saga games, SMTIV, SMTIV Apocalypse, and potentially SMTV. EDIT2: In light of the announcement of Soul Hackers 2, I would like to see a Recapitation of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.

This game frustrates me so much gameplay-wise and yet I still think it's beautiful. SMT V was a good try at doing something similar but this game just has its own haunting atmosphere that can't be matched.

If you still don't understand, and I'm very sorry to not have been able to tell you before, it is because he hates himself for being so useless. He basically hates the world for making him feel so useless and he hates how you keep helping him. He wants to be able to fend for himself and stand out by himself. That's why he has the reason he does and you practically help him cement the reason why he needs to have a world of solitude. So he doesn't need to just get rescued by people and he doesn't just get put in danger by others.

only problem i have is this is one of the only mainline games on the ps4. besides persona 5 not even sure if 3 and 4 got a ps4 port or not, i know they're getting a gamepass pc port sometime in the near future... this is actually the next thing i'm playing after i finish persona 5 royal.
