Re-upload this FILM/DOCUMENTARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what Judo (and BJJ) is supposed to include- so happy to see Japan's efforts to bring it back! THESE NEEDS TO BE VIEWED BY EVERY GRAPPLER IN NORTH AMERICA, because we know the rest of the world already respects Gi-standup aka Judo and other folkstyes...lol we are the ones behind on the curve. Less guard pulling in the GI TOO- for way more entertainment and development of future grapplers- especially those transitioning to mma!

It's a shame we will never see Jacare (in his prime) vs Gordan Ryan. I would still pay to see it! Jacare was one of the few to use Judo. I was lucky enough to be ragged dolled by him in the early 2000's. Riccardo, Thank you again for posting!

Yeah we can only dream he comes back for a legends super fight of some sorts. I doubt it will be with Gordon but who knows. Glad you enjoyed the video. thanks for watching.

Thats Amazing How was it ? I think jacare in his prime would beat Gordon Ryan Remember he’s the only one who beat both Marcelo Garcia and Roger Gracie

@@benjaminpolska6585 He's lighting quick! Stand up / Judo, I held my own, for a bit! BUT, Once it when to the ground, It was a wrap! Jacare is one of the only guys I've rolled with that transition from throw to roll! He never gave up position after a throw or trip. He's such a quick study. My thing is Okuriashi harai. He notice and counted every time. Super nice guy! On the mat he feels like he weigh's 300 lbs. There's no space to breath. Attack after attack! Top 3 BJJ player's of all time, IMO.

I wished this guy wouldnt have that much adrenaline and passion for MMA and instead had his own bjj gym 10y ago.... His school and affiliates would be numerous worldwide. Well done on cementing his path and pursuing his dream with so much passion!

My sister rolled with Jacare in Las Vegas. She told me she never felt another human who felt like he was a piece of metal. Every part of his body was like she was touching a rock wall. He even let her tap him out. I’m still jealous.

I've watched the UFC from the the very start, I mean ROYCE GRACIE ones, so I was a die hard fan of it. After the way JACARE was "avoided" and a few other similar things it threw me off completely. Now I watch 5 to 10 fights a year but don't care who has the belt anymore.

@@VelhaGuardaTricolor Facts! Him and Romero were the top Middleweights and would have been champions. They both can beat Bisping, Weidman, and Rockhold.

@@danrod3790 The way he was robbed of his Strikeforce belt was also a part of my disillusionment witht he whole thing. The BOOS in the arena that night gave me some comfort, but not enough I guess. He did beat Weidman without much trouble, he was very merciful and classy at the end of that fight too. PS.: As much as I like the fellow, I have to keep Bisping's name very distant from Jacaré, Romero and others.
