@@iso_paii11 Yes the 808 2 regular version is very wide foot friendly. That’s the one Way of Wade shoe that I think you can go true to size with, the other ones are best going half size up from my experience.

Just got the Dame 8s with help from your videos. Definitely comfortable for my flat and 2E wide feet. Traction seems to be a sketchy aspect for them but I'd rather live with that than play with blisters.

For me the regular Wade 808 2 were too narrow when I went tts, even though I‘m not a wide footer. I fit the KD14 tts which are supposed to be relatively narrow shoes. Also great video as always!

With my wide feet, it isn't very easy for me to shop online for the best basketball shoes. I recently ordered Puma TRC and returned them. Adidas DON Issue 3 is currently in use. Your video is spot on

🤝🤝 Yup TRC Blaze Court is a bit of a tight fit. DON Issue 3 is good but DON Issue 4 has much less space inside. Being a wide footer is hard sometimes lol

If you don't get the proper fit, you'll end up not enjoying cushioning and materials properly. Most of the time you'll just feel tightness and pain because of the wrong fit

I think what's always interesting with sizing, is how it always varies. The one thing I'm curious about, is how do you consider Adidas to size incorrectly? They're based off their European sizing, rather than their US sizing, and their size charts definitely defer from Nike (same with Chinese brands like Peak I'd say, and sometimes Li-Ning.) As far as heel slippage, have you ever tried a runner's knot for extra containment? For me, I've noticed most sizes have similar lasts, and although some shoes may be longer, them having bigger achilles pillows can push your foot even more forward (I've seen to encounter this with a fair amount of Adidas models, like the DON Issue 1 for example.) But I think in the end, if it fits, it fits haha. (I'm a wide/flat footer, my feet seemed to have gotten wider over the years, where I'm iffy about newer models especially with Nikes since they really curve the arch out more.)

That’s true, I mean sizing is just a tough call to make cause even within brands there are variations by different models. In the case with Adidas, their recent releases definitely seem to have gotten rid of the heel slippage issue, and the amount of padding is key for sure - like those achilles cushion pods of the Harden Vol. 6 did well in filling in some space to me 😆

I literally searched for this type of video because of the pain I've been getting on just my right pinky toe (I think my right foot's slightly larger), from hooping in Jordan 36s.. Then I switched back and forth to LeBron 7's and I'm not sure if both shoes are to blame, or if I need to start going up half a size. Especially since I've added the Move insoles, which I think helped take away any extra space I previously had in the toe box area of both shoes.

👌🙏 From what I’ve heard the pinky toe problem is pretty common on the Jordan 36, so that might still be an issue even if you sized up, which is unfortunate cause it’s all good otherwise.

🙏😃 I did go true to size with the WOW 8 too. But the WOW 10 I’d def recommend going half a size up for the best fit. I’ve never tried TTS on the same shoe so not sure if that’s doable or not, but half size up is still pretty hard to put on even until this day and not much extra room inside so that for sure is a much better fit to me.

My fit changed. Ayed in college at 165 and bulked up after college to 215. Had to put on different shoes when I started hooping again. The old shoes couldn't support my weight and killed my feet due to that

I prefer a slightly roomier fit with my shoes just cuz my feet don’t feel too good when the shoes are snug. Usually go up half a size or get the E.P versions of shoes cuz they’re a bit wider.

I’m a true 11.5 but on the edge, I’m between 11-11.5 for most snkrs. I sized pretty differently tho: 11 for zoom freak 4, immortality 2 11.5 for kyrie low 5 11.5 for renew elevate 3 12.5! for kyrie infinity 11 for GT cut 2 11.5 for air max impact 3 11 for kd trey 5 X I noticeably went with the smaller sizes for the immortalitys and KDs, I have a flatter foot as well but ig they’re not very wide. I went with the smaller sizing on the jordans tho, especially the Zion 2s (11, they fit incredibly well). Adidas I had to go 11 with everything but the Trae young 2s, I went with 11 with the dame certified cuz they fit long. Pretty interesting how Jordan and adidas fit a lot more alike than Nike, which fits a lot smaller.

You listed probably the top 4 shoes from last year to a lot of people 😆😆 I mean they’re all great, I’d scratch out the KD 15. PG 6 is the best to me, very safe pick. LeBron 20 if you want the bounciest shoe here, also the Curry 10 is fantastic too.

The trey young 1, I lost a big toe nail. Landed after a hard layup and my foot slid forward so hard I felt pain in my toe, then after it turned blue and separated from my nail bed 😂

Toenails can take up to 2 yrs to grow back and it's never going to look right. It's going to be deformed. Taking all my vitamins and biotin but it looks messed already 😂

Simply can't agree about the Dame 8 being wide foot friendly. I am a slight wide footer (10.5cm/4" at widest point) and 27cm long foot, which translates to a size 43/US9.5. I ordered the Dame 8 in size 9.5, size 10 and size 10.5 and all three are too narrow, and they have a very long and narrow toe box. My feet were sore after wearing each pair for an hour and would even turn sleepy from restricticted blood flow. In comparison with the Nike Renew Elevate 3 in US11, it's the exact same length as the Dame 8 in size 9.5 but the Renew Elevate 3 s just contain my foot with no pressure. It's just a great natural fit with a rounded toe box, that I can wear all day. Not a ridiculously long and narrow toe box, like, who has a foot shaped like that? Can't understand the hype about the Dame 8s being so great for wide footers. Someone, kindly explain.

Ah I see, I definitely can’t relate then. Even after going down a half size the Dame 8 still has decent room for my feet, and true to size was heel slipping all over for me 😂😂 But good thing is that you tried them all for yourself so you know what works best for you 👍

​​@@TommyLiu4 length wise I agree with you about going down half a size or even a full size. The Dame 8s in US 9.5 are exactly = in length to the Nike Renew Elevate 3s in US11. This means it would be most fair to compare the Elevate 3 in size US11 with the Dame 8 in size US9.5 as these two are true to each other in size. What I found is that with a thick sock, the Elevate 3s have a glove like fit with a thumbs width space in the toe box while the Dames feel tight to either side and from the upper, also with a thumbs width space in the toe box:)

For the NB Two Way V2 and V3 I could fit TTS with my flat feet, but the wide version fits so good, I recommend it :)
