For those who don't know what CC means, it stands for Crowd Control (it may have been mentioned in the video but I just didn't pay attention). Crowd Control is any sort of debuff a player puts on an enemy, such as a slow, knockup, grab/pull, rooting to the ground, or even a blinding effect. You use beads to immune yourself from any of these effects, although if you use beads while you are knocked up in the air it likely won't be effective in that moment since you still need to fall back down to regain control of your character - with the exception that if Awilix pulls you with her ultimate it will drop you back to the ground. Some helpful minor information for newer players that weren't given, the range you get assist/xp from minions is 70 meters, or for a couple seconds after hitting minions that die outside of that range. Tower aggro is determined by the first god to step into an enemy tower, and the target can shift if a different god on that same team attacks an enemy god, if someone on your team who is being targeted by the tower dies, gets banished out of combat, or leaves tower range, the person closest to the tower itself is the new target, (also you are targetable by the tower for a few seconds after hitting an enemy god regardless if you step out of tower range, and back in). the first person to hit the fire giant does less damage to it, so make sure you wait on your tank to hit it first, small things matter

Best YT channel for smite, about chill mind it's hard sometimes because toxic teammates afk leavers in ranked games (conquest or joust) it's the problem most of games lost because of them. How it were said kills doesnt matter and I agree with that. I had games where my team had kill and gold lead but we didnt had structures and lost that and same were for my enemy had kills and gold lead but we had structures and won that so I agree need to be cold thinking and chill, ward map and play with team together this is the key to victory 😉😉😉

Excellent video thank you so much for this. There is only one criticism I have. Near the beginning you mention that last hitting minions was not all that important in Smite. For the most part, that is an accurate statement, but there are situations when it is important. For instance, off the top of my head you have the blessings. For most of the blessings that require minion/god kills, it says Assist or kill to gain stacks. Most other stacking items say the same thing. However, Guardians blessing and Gauntlet of Thebes specifically say Assist to gain stacks. I know for a beginner video what you said is perfectly applicable. Thank you for this video, and I hope more people watch it. I will certainly be showing my friends who are new to the game this.
