Slow rolled and jigged one for about 2 hours today with little luck. Not a googan specifically though . The river is still really high, super dirty and lots of new obstacles,timber and laydowns to catch them on and the current is ripping so hard your bait hits water...before you can reel in slack. 40 yards down river. ..lucky though today, no issues there getting hung. Till I threw the rattletrap. Just not but maybe 2 bites...and

Do Bass fisherman use a Left hand crank ever? I’ve noticed that they pretty much all cast with their right hand and switch the rod to their left after to work the right hand crank? I’m sure I’ll get some sandbagger answers but it’s something that I’ve wondered about for a long time and don’t know any Bass anglers.

Fishing in stocked, private ponds, is not an indication of how well or poorly a lure works. The Bass only have so much room, and so much food to go around to keep them healthy. So they will eat almost anything. /smh
