For a lot of people, that same basic design would work as a wall hanging sandpaper storage unit - just add some glue & brads to make the 'box' the slot carriers go into, cleats or picture hanging wire on the rear of the backing board. And if you are like me, some white cloth tape on the dividers and a felt marker to label the grits and types so you don't have to keep pulling disks out to read what is in each compartment (is it 60 or 80 grit, sterate or nor sterate.....).
