My problem is i fish to many techniques and have to much terminal tackle 😂. I have to have three boxes just for terninal 🤷‍♂️😂. So what i do us condense down to a small box for trips and just go back to my main terminal boxes when needed lol

This summer I went thru all my tackle and keep 1 3700 Plano terminal at home and just pack a small double sided gamakatsu box and i love it. I'm primarily a bank angler so cutting down weight made a huge difference for me

Great ideas. I minimized mine from a backpack to the Plano version of Jeff’s mule box. Hooks & small “jig heads” on one side, weights/bobber stoppers/beads/swivels etc on the other. My trailers, worms, hard baits etc stay mostly in their original packaging in a 1 gallon ziplock. Separate ziplock for my extra fishing line & pre-tied rigs. Anything I’m don’t anticipate using either stays home or in my vehicle. Had to curb the FOMO.

Use a safety pin with the hooks. Great help in keeping hooks and swivels organized and easier to get to. I use a bait binder for my spinnerbaits and jigs, plus one for trailers

I use the safety pins as well... noticed some of the VMC hooks now come with their own "clip" that works in the same manner.

Great ideas, boys! I purchased Buzbe boxes back when you first introduced them to the channel. I really like them. However, folks should know that the standard ones are heavy. But having them float is awesome for the rivers. I probably need to pick up a few of their thinner boxes. They must be lighter. Keep well, JJ

I started using the standard Plano Edge 3700 Thin (zero need to be able to pick out the compartments) earlier this year for terminal since it comes with so many dividers, but then I stopped pretty abruptly when I realized that tiny items like hooks can jump across compartments because the lid doesn't sit flush on top of the compartments/dividers (I have two boxes that are both the same). Hooray for the waterproofness around the edge when it can't even separate compartments properly 🙂

I have the terminal box and the hook box the hook box allows me to keep all sizes and styles of hooks the bottom part I can keep Tokyo rigs. The terminal box. I can keep all weights smaller hook like drop shot wacky hooks etc and bobber stops my crossover bands. Small.ned heads. It's a pretty flawless system

I use the Kastking 3600 boxes, very similar to the cheaper style Plano boxes with a better hinge and the moister wicking cube. As im writing this I just sorted my boxes some and came to the conclusion that I probably need to make a light rig box or 2 that will fit in a smaller back pack; while better organizing my terminal stuff. I lost 10k worth of fishing gear when I joined the service years ago and just started to rebuild my arsenal back up. I could use a better casting rod or 2 and I definitely need a pond hopper bag again. but watching you guys has re-kindled that spark. added bonus my youngest seems to have been bitten buy the fishing bug as well. keep up the good work gentleman you continue to aspire.

That will be a never ending problem. xD I used to use my dropshot weights and a tiny snaplock (steal from you least favorit bladebait)/splitring to create a freerig without complitly destroying the eye on the dropshot weight. and it make for a fast rigging too. I got my perch tackle box, my pkie, a few smaller that that I fill up when landfishing or just scaling down and then there is the "I'll sort that later" box that get sorted once or twice a year and then slowly fills up again. :P Oh, and i like boxes with 4 snaps, two in th front and one each side. It jsut takes a sec longer to open but saved me so many times.

I purchased a Harbor Freight 3700 size water resistand(pretty much water proof) and purchased hobby craft little mini boxes and made my own special terminal box.

I “shop” from my 2x3700 Planos down to my 3600 Buzbe basic when i head out on the lake. I also keep top stuff i use in a Gamakatsu G-Box 388DD in my PFD for rapid access.

I keep saying all the major hook companies must be kicking themselves in the ass for not thinking of the combo box first. BKKs are dope... but the box doesn't have any anti-rust built-in, which is a deal breaker for me... hopefully, someone improves on the idea next year.
