Also, one thing for melee setup: Lead-bladed battle axe is one of the best weapons for this boss, because it has a higher max hit than most other weapons in the game, as the str bonus is +10 higher than a whip. The reason it's effective is because you're flinching so attack speed isn't important.

Decent guide, but the POH method inventory setup is quite scuffed. Bring runes for house tele and alchs and like 3 pieces of food if you have max melee setup

your freezes arent catching or you arent using long range

after the first freeze when he breaks free let him attack you 3 times, then freeze him again and move 1 tile back, repeat that until he's dead. also staff should be on long cast if using iban's or trident if you still have a problem, next time i get thermy task i'll upload an example kill :D you can look out for that

Absolutely 0 need for any Karil’s or any mage reducing damage armor. Therms hits you so much and so often I’d say pray piety bring 1-2 prayer potions a scp or the 3 combat pots with a c hally torso and whatever else.
