fureelz tool you have and the vac, that pomis stone looking thing, the rubber square thing, the metal thing....also I spray a light 50/ 50 mix of fabric softener or any quick detailer with anti static in it to reduce static cling before I start works for all my customers

I prefer a massaging gun. The vibrations really bounce the particles out of the carpet. works really well on farm trucks, or the jacked up trucks who like to go mudding..

Thanks for the video. Jess and you always do great work!! I find myself using compressed air, Tornador velocity vacuum, Fur Eel and that hair rake. This usually gets the vast majority of the hair out. Do you normally remove the sill plates? Seems like it would make cleaning that area easier. I am always worried something will break!!
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 10 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks! I always check the sills and the bolt covers on the seats to see if they will remove easily. If they don’t remove easily I leave them alone. Had too many of them snap and break.

I’m a really big fan of the Fur-Eel vac attachment. It’s disposable, but being able to dislodge stuff from carpet and suck it up at the same time is a big efficiency win for me.

Great tips. One thing I find useful is the velocity vac. It helps suck up the hair instead of throwing it around the vehicle. On a side note, what did you think of that color? I have a Tacoma TRD Pro on order and it’s that Solar Octane color.

Great stuff as you have always done amazing work on interiors. I just use a small toothbrush, rubber dog hair removal brush, and a vacuum. The brush and vacuum technique does work in open areas for me. On carpets I prefer the bonnet method to reduce moisture but this is difficult for me in cramped interiors. A steamer may be a good investment for me. Thank you guys for another great video!

Nice job! I sneezed just watching this video, woof. Those silicone blades like at the 7 min mark are what I typically use for pet hair, always been nervous to use the metal tool in fear of distorting the material; if you keep the silicone blade clean with soap and water so it's tacky it seems to work its best. I've heard spraying with a light mist of fabric softener and water helps too but never tried it?

Something else I do is use the air hose and blow out the tracks the seats ride on and when I’m almost finished I turn on the heater fan on hi and rotate from defrost to floor and vents. It’s amazing how sometimes hair is in those areas. I’m going to have to look into that metal rake looking tool. Thanks for the video Bud

Hi! Newer subscriber. I noticed that you don’t remove seats from the vehicle when cleaning carpet. Do you find it to be too much of a hassle? Do you think it’s too much trouble?
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 4 ай бұрын
Hi! Welcome!! Well removing seats all comes down to what the customer wants. If they want to pay more, sign my liability form, realize that removing seats on vehicles resets modes, and if they want to be charged extra for that, yup, we can do that. But detailing in general doesn’t not require seat removal. That’s more for disaster type details that warrant it. On older vehicles rusting and breaking bolts is something to think about. And on newer vehicles you must disconnect the battery, which resets everything. Either way I wouldn’t recommend it for general detailing.
