Based on what you know of Tracy armfield…. Did you just get incredibly lucky with a beautiful day? Or are nice days relatively common in May / June? I've heard May is the driest month of the Alaskan year...

May/June from my experience tend to be more pleasant and sunny than not.

We will be doing this in September on a Royal ship. How long would you say you were on the excursion? Mine says 5 hours...

Slightly less than 3 hours. The first (ours) was at 1 PM and the second excursion was at 4 PM.
