Hey Henning, we're excited that you like our travel guitar portfolio, and really appreciate this extensive deep dive! Thank you for your help with our battle against GLS too - your unboxing video came in handy when proving that it was them who damaged the package. Looking forward to meeting again soon and introducing you to the whole team, including our founder Mr. Furch's daughter, after whom the Little Jane travel guitar is named. PS: I'll show you a more effortless way to assemble the guitar when we meet, so that your delicate fingers are spared! ;D Martin from Furch

I’ve had mine for about 2 years now. I travel to many local schools by bicycle teaching guitar. This guitar has been great!

Hey :) I posted a comment above, but will duplicate it here. Maybe you could also answer it... thanks. The main question is not going to be discussed on all videos and from my point of interest: It is a full "solid" and "travel" guitar. The owners of full solid guitars probably know what it means and how careful we should be with such instruments in terms of humidity and overall weather conditions. So for me - travel guitar would be piece, which I could play anywhere - street, park, campfire at day and night, wet weather (ofc no rain) or hot one with 30-40 deegrees on sun. So here comes the question of little jane's fortitude. What are the do's and dont's?

This is such a brilliant video! I’ve watched it a couple of times now and feel totally confident in the model I should buy. I simply could not have got as much information any other way (other than perhaps breaking into the Furch factory, which was never going to happen, given my honesty and dodgy knee). Thank you so much.

These guitars are astonishing! Both in how close they are in tune after assembly, and the sound! Well done, Furch! Excellent video, Henning!

At first, I was like, cool air guitar, but then I was impressed how nice it works and sounds.

Wonderful idea. Hell though, you have to really want a travel guitar at these prices!

Henning, thank you so much for confirming what I suspected that, like you, the LJ 11-SR (Sitka/Rosewood) is the absolute standout of the five. It just sounds perfect to my ears. I appreciate so much the time and effort you put into this video. People just don't understand the countless hours it takes to produce a 33 minute video of the quality you posted to KZbin. Be well!

I've had my Little Jane for around 18months now, I was really surprised at how competent an instrument it is. I wanted a Guitar I could take motorcycle camping that wasn't a novelty, and I really feel like I found it. I bought mine new and after a quick truss rod setup, it plays and sounds great. Love it. Proper kudos to Furch.

I’ve tried many travel guitars and nothing even touches a Little Jane. And when not traveling, it hangs in my family room for quick couch playing. Yes, they’re expensive, but save yourself the time of trying other ones and just get this.

The elongated side dots could also be called lines. Really cool guitars! Not just for travel. Foldable electric guitars could make my weekly band rehearsals easier, because I'm usually bringing two guitars, one in D standard (or drop C) and one in DADGAD, which can easily be tuned to E standard, but with the E dropped to C. By the way, I'm most often using headphones for HP demos. I recommend everyone to also do that, or at least to use proper speakers. You will get so much more out of the demo, even if you're watching it while pooping. 😂

Sounds between a Jim+Dandy and a Dreadnought and you can fold it. I think is a winner.

In my opinion, a headless guitar is way easier to travel with, u can put it into the big travel bag you take with ya anyway. But for acoustic/classical i guess there could be an option. Love the channel man!!

That internal neck storage is interesting does it also double as a second sound hole?

Awesome video, but i still can not decide to choose usual 10 cm, or 11 sr😅 Whether 11sr is suitable for more "happy" and "bright" melody? Because i am usually like to play more depressed songs. In this case usual 10cm looks more valid. What is opinion of who alreday has real little jane?

For me it would be the Rose wood 11-SR I travel quite a bit and always miss having an acoustic with me, I have no need as a performer, just for sanity :)

I purchased a Furch LJ10 CM a few months ago and it sounds way better than my previous folding travel guitar. Not even remotely close. After several years with the cheaper one I just couldn't stand the sound of it, even though I wanted to save the cash.

I agree. I have a cheaper carbon fiber travel guitar that you can take neck off. Plays nice as has wooden neck (KLOS), but sounds like a toy. I have a Furch nylon guitar and love quality of manufacturer. I have been wanting the little Jane for some time and you sold me with this video!

Guitar player's like simplicity. A plus to these guy's for effort but an epic F minus for usability. Perfect though. for those who like to smash their guitar's after a performance. Since this is modular, it wouldn't break, it would just come apart . 😂 40 made 40 sold... wow. There's always people with disposable $$$ that would rather go eat at a restaurant that has an amateur cook who advertises high end ingredients but can't make a dish vs those who'd choose one with a real chef. Just my opinion . Your mileage will vary 😀
