Great review Scroft. Looks great and a worthy investment , I like the flexibility of being able to remove it when not using quickly or swap it out for an f1 wheel etc. I have the g29 and hate how many cables there are for it just to work. Fine if you keep it fixed but when you remove often it’s a faff. My question is with this being s much larger wheel , do you feel more restricted when reaching for the keyboard / joystick etc as I feel it’s more designed for a proper rig / sim set up not so much desk and keyboard still being used.

How much has this effected or benefited you in you Farm Hand series, Scroft? Having upgraded my wheel and pedals last year, I've found it a lot easier (especially somewhere like Court Farm) to navigate around the yard -- and it's made a huge difference when stacking and removing items like bales on a trailer.

It's made it more enjoyeble for me. Just because it feel more immersive to player the game. Also the wheel is super silent, which helps when recording

Scroft, how does that power pack disperse heat??? I think that is a fire waiting to happen, You can't block up the air vents like that, it's asking for trouble.

It's from the side. It's sorted now. I have some velcro on the sides. Must easier to remove and place it back

Hi Scroft, did you map the Moza TSW analogue sticks the same as the Hori? If so does it work ok for navigating around outside a vehicle in fs22? I have got the hori love the side panel but the wheel keeps playing up, I’ve got a stream deck for other controls and sim dashboard so it’s just the navigation which I find easier with pedal and analogue sticks rather than using the joystick, cheers 👍🏻

Was thinking I’d go with the Thrustmaster T248X once my Logitech g29 goes. But think I’ll spring for that one.

If you only are inrestead in the TSW for starters you can save some cash and buy the MOZA R5 wheel base and upgrade your logitech pedals, if you still have them, with kits from AXC racing. Compared to the R5 bundle you save roughly €100. IF you are new to direct drive wheels I recomend doing some research on which wheel base suits your current and possibly future setup as I made the "misstake" of buying a to powerful wheel base in context to how Im using it.

Effort Scroft the wheel looks awesome. While i was watching i noticed that the servo bracket/mount seems to sticks down alot does it get in the way of your knees? I suppose could just chop the extra off with angle grinder.

You can get the Moza R5 bundle that has pedals include which is about €550-650 and the there is the clamp around €60 and the TSW it self around €350

Not sure if it can be doen with the limitations of the game but the wheel should not auto-center like that when the vehicle is not moving. I will probably get one of these soon still debating it though it is a really nice kit I'll give them that. Really good review mate, appreciate it.

How does the setup hold up to the force feedback? I thought I hade a sturdy desk untill I used a Direct Drive wheel. I should point out to anyone new to Direct Drive wheel and thinking of buying one to do some reseache before buying. I bought the Moza R12 but I cant use 100% force feedback settings while its mounted on my desk.
