Even though it's not reccomended if someone prefers they can also mine the copper ores. Since now we got ads to skip the smelting process, you can get your bronzes without wasting any coals.

I go exclusively for the copper. It has helped me build my steel base much quicker, especially since I am F2P.

@@wackyweyland8857 steel bases are pretty much a waste since you just need to cover everything brekable behind walls, leave a bait chest and raiders will not get into your base. Right now I am making a stone base so I don't need to build wooden walls whenever horde breaks them again. Got raided once like in 20 time and like I said, they only took my spears and nothing in my base even though I had wood walls.

The problem with frosted backwoods is thay you need a full set of fur armor if you don't wanna die from freezing. Fur armor is expensive and doesn't have much durability
