@@lebaguette5393 that's because xbow isn't meta anymore. They nerfed the Tesla tower which hurt this deck sooo bad. Thankfully they buffed archers and the ice spirit back so this deck could possibly be really good again but Tesla will never be the same

Awesome guide my friend. The one thing I would suggest discussing, is when to switch offensive xbows to the other tower. Sometimes the defense can read your battle plan and always counter what you're doing, and changing the tower you're going for could be the key to winning the match. Otherwise, great stuff!

Xbow mirror matchup is hillarious. It almost feels like a turn based matchup lol, since it’s all about how you choose to play your Xbow. Success verses failure is pretty simple: make two good plays in a row after being in neutral and you’ll get a lock (3 if your in disadvantage state). It’s literally just all about you both moving between phases of disadvantage, neutral, advantage, and hopefully a lock (or a lock on your own tower)

Legendaray, this was a great video! I have one thing I disagree about though. I think vs lava clone and lava with ljack baby d poison you should go opposite lane, your xbow will take their tower and then help on defense if they play lumberjack. If you go same lane they will usually go with baby dragon and than ljack clone and you wont even take their tower. Keep up the good work.

What a great video! There are not many videos on explaining difficult match-ups. This helps a lot! Thank you! By the way, I play X-bow 90% of the time, still think it's not that good for Challenges. I'm not sure it's my subjective thought or something, I always think people playing Challenges tend to play low risk and stable decks like Golem, Giant and Pekka. Or maybe I'm just so unlucky that keep having opponents playing those decks. Not impossible to win but really quick to get tired. I normally need a rest after playing 2-3 matches against those decks with high hp tank lol........

Me, as a 2.9 xbow player found this correct except for the golem match up, defending the mega minion is a huge error unless you know you have a big Elixir advantage or you already have a Tesla down, other then that, amazing vid

Wow this deck is pretty much hard countered (or at least has a difficult match up) by 90% of all meta decks and is still capable of drawing or even winning against all of them! OP MUCH?!?! I’ve been having a lot of fun playing xbow, but I lose 3/4 of my matches, and while I want to blame the fact that my xbow is level 10 and my highest level card is rocket at level 12, I think that that mentality will remove any possibility for improvement. If I want to call myself good then I should be able to win under leveled.

Tip! Your attack always comes from the river! So if the enemy places 3M behind the king, you can still fireball since the king tower will never hit your X-bow

Idk too much, but ima try: 3,3 Pros: has Rocket, which is easy to kill a huge push. Tornado: one of most important cards in this deck, gives u value w/ Ice Wizard. Cons: no 2nd building 2,9: Pros: has Tesla, which is sooo good on D. U can Cycle faster. Cons: No spell like Nado, or a splasher(not counting Fireball) More skill required. Style: Legendaray wrote an reply that 3,3 and 2,9 have a similar style.

Major MAJOR flaw in the golem game plan is not mentioning that when the opponent it pumping DO NOT PUSH WITH XBOW! It will result with elixir advantage for the opponent and a HOGE push. Otherwise really good video!

@@ChumbakVal well, without disrespect, this is fundamentally wrong. Think about it, you, as a xbow player, aiming towards one tower win. A golem player aiming towards 3 crown win and using is towers as a resource. So if at the first two minutes he pump and you xbow aggressively his tower instead of fireballing the pump so yeah you have one tower lead, but he has more elixir, pump and probably a golem. If it was double elixir you would be able to defend,but it's single elixir and he is on the lead. You can say that in double elixir if he pumps you should be aggressive, but no golem player will pump on double elixir.

For 2.9 it suffers against golem and pekka decks so i use use the 3.0 deck where i replace tesla with inferno tower and to counter clone lavaloon i switch fireball for poison

Great guide. Still some questions: 1. If opponent place golem in back, but my xbow is the last card. Does this means that in the best case I can do a draw here? As after I defend his first golem, he know my deck. 2. Every time I lose one of my towers, it's almost impossible to place xbow such it will don't be destroyed. It's impossible to defend it without one tower. Suggestions?

Yeah, with xbow you almost never want to lose a tower, and comebacks from tower downs are almost impossible. And if they golem in the back, you can still win. Don’t worry about hiding an xbow cycle deck, usually when I see archers and skeletons I will automatically assume an xbow matchup
