I had to do a double take when I saw the title and thumbnail for this. This series is gonna be a blast. The editing on this is also incredible, love the little cut ins and showing off all the different competitors. This not just being dueling is also such a nice touch, there is so much to love about yugioh and focusing on those different aspects will really make this whole competition just more complete and interesting.

Well it's sort of worse now that the community were able to mod Konami's own official simulator that Cimo & Gage use in their Progression Series. Konami is just nothing but scumbags wanting drain the wallets of TCG dry & base their whole operation & business design around it. Join some of the more newer TCGs or participate in MTG's alternative formats because modern Yu-Gi-Oh! is sort of dying out.

AMAZING concept and first episode. People didn't talk over each other, wich I hate (only a bit when it was hectic, wich I can forgive), very well organized, great banter, and well hosted. Cimo, you outdid yourself. The best part is? This is not just dueling. If it was, Josh, Sam and Seereax would have way too much advantage over people like Gage and Ruxin. Knowledge of the game, the art, the show, and even market is necessary. I feel like, outside of maybe the finals, we won't see a traditional yugioh game, and even then, it might have a twist to it. Drafting or limited deck building options. who knows. This makes it way more fun. On a side note, I am happy Jesse is not here. Because he is more rounded in his knowledge then just competitive like Josh is. The guy is at worst avarage at everything while also been the best player in the world, it would be unbalanced. So someone more traidionally competitive like Josh worked better. For exemple, Josh, as an card seller, would be way better at the final challange then both Sam and Josh.
