I love to hate it. It’s complete trash, but I can honestly think of no better story that perfectly encapsulates the state of American media in the early 2000s. It’s great to go back and marvel at what we were cooking not so long ago.

That tribute to Stan and Jack at the end is so funny because there was literally NO reason for them to do that lmao. Jack died 10 years earlier, and Stan was still alive, so they just had it there to celebrate(?) the Ultimates becoming more like the 616 Avengers i guess.

Abomination didn't die by having a mech slammed on him. Smokey intentionally skipped his actual death. Hulk actually rips both of Abomination's arms off, beats him with them as the Abomination pleads for him to stop. Hulk then finishes Abomination off by decapitating him with a punch and eating his remains.

I like your interpretation of the story as criticism of American exceptionalism. Unfortunately I think it's too easy, despite the ending events/dialogue, to interpret it as "hell yeah look how awesome it is when superheroes cut loose!"

So are the Liberators meant to be the Ultimate version of the Masters of evil, but I wish that they could have included Zemo even it was Loki in disguise, Red Skull which I did realise that he did killed one of the member’s baby just for kicks, Frank Simpson who is the Captain America of the Vietnam war, Red Guardian and the Unicorn from Ultimate Nightmare in the team. I find removing fingernails disturbing as I couldn’t get that Ballerina backstage in John Wick 3 out of my head and using them as weapons is completely unbelievable.

I hate that after some time the ultimate universe got a bit less weird and a bit more enjoyable, yet this is still the garbage versions of these characters, I should be hyped to see spiderman, the x men and the FF fighting alongside each other, but the only likable person there is spiderman, Hank pym being a double agent should be a 4d chess move but this is still the hank who sicced his ants on his wife so i don't care, Quicksilver disintergrating someone should be metal AF, but this is the incestuous quicksilver. It is frustrating to be stuck with these versions of the characters, no matter how much i think the story ideas are good

Do any comic books ever start out as "Today" as apposed to "6 months ago"? Why do we need a timeline looking back WHEN THE STORY JUST STARTED? Tie in from a past issue? Then start with "Continued from... in issue..." to help further confuse the audience. FOMO? It's just that I've never saw the relevance in the whole 'Time Stamp' thing in their story telling.

Now I reimagined Wonder Woman being like Ultimate Thor where everyone don’t think she is a demigod and just a crazy person and that she is a demigod but I thought that Ares and Circe made there own version of Ragnarok where they killed Athena just for kicks and out of spite on Ares behalf, free the Titans(including Typhon) that the Amazons join the fight that they all died that most of the Amazons were pretty rare and Diana is the last of them as both of her parents are dead in timeline and Zeus sent Ares and his accomplices were sent a room with no doors that they still keep their powers, also this happened during the last supper as the Greek mythological religion is dying at the time, I also reimagined the Cheetah being Steve Trevor’s childhood friend and she wanted to spend her life with him but he was believed to have died(which unknown to him she was pregnant with her son and it was out of wedlock) and came back with a nobody which is why she resented Diana for it and when Ares and his accomplices got outside they give her the cheetah powers.
