This is a very nice video, thank you for putting your effort into creating it. And amazing pictures too! This lens is very appealing for me because of its versatility. I see it as an ideal lens for traveling and visiting both cities or nature. I was just a bit surprised when you mentioned it's also for the Nikon Z fullrame cameras because I haven't seen it for Nikon yet. Hopefully it comes soon - I'll buy it when it does :)

I tried that lens and I am no fan of it at all, at 17mm, the edge is just horrible at F4, even stop down to F8 still not great at all, at the other extreme, the 50mm, the edge still not great at F4, and it's a such slow lens already and you can't even use F4 to get some good performance out of it, and the sun stars it produces is " average" at best, and you call this kind of lens a " perfect lens for outdoor photographer"? you gotta be kidding. how about compare that to the Sony 20-70 F4 and what you will call that Sony? by the way I am no even a Sony fan.

for a lens just 500usd brand new, it's great enough

@@shuozhang3247 sure that's fair assessment.

None of my clients ever looked at the edges of my photos because my composition is usually not corner-focused - maybe that's different for your use case. I also shoot in raw and had no problem using a radial sharpening mask to make corner image quality perfectly usable for larger prints. Agree on the sunstars though, real shame that lots of manufacturers insist on putting rounded aperture blades in everything, even a lens as slow as this
