She's a famous actress that gets paid a bunch of money to pretend. Thats really not too far from not being allowed to enter into places just because you're black, having no right to vote, no opportunities to excel in life much less be a successful actress with a voice to speak so freely as she does now, and the constant fear of white people having the freedom to pretty much to do anything to you without fear of repercussions. Her life is so similar to a colored woman living in the 60s. She's sooooooo oppressed...Give me a break

I always thought of how they downgraded Luther and made him into a sort of punching bag, making him kinda stupid and just like so awkward was so weird for me since his the leader. But when Tom explained that Luther never really had a chance to not only be himself, but be in the real world, because he's devoted so much of his life to the academy and his father and being a leader, it really spoke into me. Luther never had a chance to be vulnerable, he's never had a chance to view the real world and to see him actually taking control of his life, while being a beginner at it, it actually seems so wholesome and it makes me happy that he's finally being himself.
