Legit will never understand why people just dump their dogs, like at least try to give it away, sell it or drop it off at a shelter first
@japanesejackalope2 ай бұрын
@@Gingerale434A lot of people sadly view it as less of a hassle to find a shelter that will take their dog or to rehome it. They want an instant fix to get rid of their pet so releasing it into the wild is deemed quicker and a lot of people just assume animals will naturally take care of themselves.
@ChaoticDatGirlNxtDoor2 ай бұрын
If people weren't harassed and shamed and demonized, and taxed for using a needed resource and taking a dog to the shelter, A LOT LESS dogs would get dumped like this. It would not fix the criminal cases, where they're dumped to avoid abuse charges. But it would minimize healthy adoptable dogs from being dumped

The sad part is people who abandoned their pets think it's somehow better than a shelter. That they are 'giving them a chance at life' when all they are doing is condemning the dog to death. Yes, shelters are traumatizing but to leave a dog in the wild is even more so. This movie is a masterpiece on the idealism of the philosophy of 'giving the dog a chance in the wild'. Even if it is unrealistic

I hope people who do see this movie help the world become a better place by taking care of the earth and environment, including animals. (So happy the movie has a good ending:D ) 😭🥺💗💗

When I was really young (idk, like 8-12) we had a dog named Daisy, they were super sweet to us, but they always broke off their leash and ran out of the yard to chase and try to bite other people, maybe protecting us? Territory? We didn't know, we had to get them a shock collar, (I didn't like the idea but out of options I guess) but even then, they didn't stay in the yard, they would fight through their shock collar and still try and run after other people.. Eventually without telling me we had to get rid of her, it was a sad day, I remember crying and trying to fight the animal control guy and hold back Daisy from getting taken away, but sadly it did have to be done.. I remember they were supposedly picked up by an animal group that saves dogs from euthenization and sends them to good homes, but who really knows. I remember for a long time being mad at my family for it, saying they hate dogs and love cats and treat them better than dogs lol.. But remembered it was because she'd try and hurt others and get out of the yard every single time she was let out. I really hope they lived a good full life, still miss her lol, same for my dog who recently-ish passed away.. 😢❤ Anyways I don't agree shock collars are great but as long as they dont hurt the dog permanently or in the long run, sometimes its needed I guess, but fences would be the humane way if possible.

Great movie! definately feels like it borrows from a lot of awsome animal animated movies. Wolf's Rain, Land Before time, Dinga Desetsu Weed, Plague Dogs, All dogs go to Heaven All great animation. I love animal animation like this, it's hard to find. Kelly is a Black dog and has a slightly different past than Blue Clint's dog, I feel like they are similar. I have always liked the dichotomy of dogs who have been pets/ working dogs ect. having differing views of humans. This is the first movie I've seen that goes into the puppy mill angle though. Also some stuff is very Korean like the mine field or the having to cross over a border fence to get to the over side; to freedom. I like that. I wouldn't mind having a hard copy of this movie. I like to keep pysical copies of great media i'd love to watch again.

The place that Jacob went to was a puppy mill (a place where they over breed dogs to the point where the dogs bodies will give out meaning the human will soon kill the dog because its not reproducing 'good' litters anymore and no one should buy from them because that's the only real reason they exist.) anyways Eddie is most likely in a normal pound and will probably will be rehomed fast because many people like standard Schnauzers, they are very common dogs to own for Asians because they are cute, same with Pomeranians.

I can't watch any Korean-based animated animal movie now without expecting it to be devastatingly sad..Although this one is a lot more on the silly side.
