The way Hamilton interacts with people is so genuine and kind. When the guy told him that he used to steal cars Hamilton just smiled and replied, " So you went from stealing cars to organic synthesis." Do you think he would still be "kind" and "genuine" to him if his own daughter OD'd on drugs? He's not interacting well with him because he's "genuine" and "kind" (although he might be, idk him personally), he's interacting with him like that because if he steps a MILIMETER out of line, this video would have never been seen by anyone and they all would be dead. Hamilton is at the Mariana Trench level of danger and uncertainty in this video. Anything could happen at any given moment.

Absolutely heartbreaking to hear the “Ok, no…” when he told him it causes bladder cancer. Man, lack of education and lack of information is truly tragic. He’s probably just doing what he thinks he has to do to survive, doesn’t seem like a hugely profitable operation and the health repercussions are horrible
@Blimzio10 күн бұрын
I'm 41 and this is my country of birth, South Africa. But I'm fortunate enough to live in an area that's indistinguishable from a 1st world country, think Switzerland. I've had access to world class education and my degree obtained in South Africa is internationally recognised. I currently have access to word class health care. I'm prefacing what I'm about to say with the aforementioned info, as Mandrax or "Buttons" as they are colloquially known is something I've seen around since I was a small kid. This also breaks my heart. The vast majority of the country lives in poverty. This guy probably feels like he hit the jackpot though. Most of these guys become car thieves and get paid about $250 even if they steal a $60,000 Land Cruiser for a syndicate, but it's very dangerous, because there's always a chance of a shootout with a private security company or the police, but the police are really non existent. They will do anything to survive. The saddest part is that these drugs end up in the poorest communities. It's well know that the methaqualone and methamphetamine produced here are very contaminated as shown in the video, so there are many deaths because of low quality drugs. It's an old round sad state of affairs and it's just getting worse. Just last week a law was signed into effect, that essentially prohibits private health care, so I'm currently making plans to immigrate to the Netherlands with my wife and 2 daughters.

@@DefeatLust takes two to tango. Do you feel the same about if a microbrewery burns down and all the workers die or if a tobacco farm has an incident and farmhands are killed? What about people who mass produce junk food that really has no other value other than getting that dopamine at the expense of your health? Lot's of drugs are a lot more dangerous to produce than to use, dealing with large batches and their byproducts that are not intended to be consumed on a regular bases rather than small quantities of the finished product.

@@dodgygoose3054good for you remember try and only do drugs you grow yourself. You can grow cannabis you can grow your own kratom you can grow your own coffee you can grow your own mushrooms, so much more. I had a single plant last year to kick out 4 1/2 elbows. Gorilla glue x Starfighter. Let's just say I have enough oil for years, literally.

Basically. What’s important to note is that almost no steps were taken to purify this drug. I’d bet a lot of money it’s contaminated with all sorts of organic side products and maybe even starting reagents if he used a molar excess. It’s straight poison at this stage.

What a disappointment to get back on Vice TV and Vice News after many years, and still watch them making videos on Drugs and Junkies. That's the main reason why I stopped watching. Wonder why they are going bankrupt. I am out till next time....
