I was one of the EMTs that took Kane out of the ring at Taboo Tuesday when Snitsky slammed his throat in the chair. It was shocking how awesome they all were. Kane was so nice and so cool he took pics with all of us and hung for a while after. Obviously, it was a work, but it looked real. We knew everything that was going to happen before hand, and I still asked him if he was ok because the blood looked so real. Richie from magic was the best ever at that job.

3 decades, 6 eras, most fans literally grew up watching this man perform. I can't even fathom the WWE without the phenom! No one in the industry has had career like the undertaker. No one has been more prominent and featured for as long as this man. The only word one could even use to describe him is legendary. He was never a draw like Austin, a innovative performer like Shawn. I'll be brutally honest. Taker was at no point ever my favourite wrestler, I was always interested more in the smaller, technical wrestlers with subtle gimmicks, if any gimmick, such as Bret, Angle, Malenko etc. But none of those will ever come close to what Taker achieved with his character. With taker, reality was momentarily suspended as we entered the dark side and it was always magic. The wrestling world will never be the same without him.
@fengsports2063
@fengsports2063 4 жыл бұрын
Totally completely agree. I always felt like he was the supporting cast, never the biggest main guy even when he was champion. He didn't feel like a dominant champion. Throughout his career at WWE I had other favourites, whether it was UW, Bret, Steve Austin, The Rock or anyone else, but Undertaker helped suspend reality.

Totally with you on this. I didn’t buy the cartoon type gimmicks when I was a kid and he first appeared, since I was an Alabama boy we had “real” pro wrestling. BUT Undertaker made me take notice and somehow forget that I only bite on the Bullet, Freebirds, Brad Armstrong, Horsemen, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, etc. I seriously never bought into the WWF since it was hokey cartoon far removed from reality soft characters, whereas JCP WCW, NWA, Continental Championship, all had real people who fought for real reasons you know? It was a goal to get the championship, a revenge for something done to them or their friends, just pure competition to see who’s the best, looking at someone’s woman, kicking their dog and talking about their momma! I’m 46 now, and I still get goosebumps when that gong hits! Love the amount of production and pageantry he’s always used. Really love that even when kayfabe was murdered, Undertaker still didn’t break. Consummate professional, true leader and respected according to his peers, just an all around great guy.

Incredible run. My absolute all time favorite. Sad to know it’s all coming to an end but it’s expected. Undertaker has provided me with so many memories that will undoubtedly last me a lifetime. Walk away into the sunset big man. With your arm raised. 💪
