Irrespective of what people say i have huge respect for marc marquez. In races and qualifying sessions where his companion honda riders are struggling he still puts on a good lap time( call it tactics, call it unfair whatever). The mentality to climb back to the top is still there ! Will be exciting to see what he does on the grescini!

Marc I had previous riders and test riders figure out my bike and it made me champion. I just ride it. Now i can't figure out bike because everyone usually does it for me, I WILL TOW. Next year , to make it easy for me, I'LL USE THE WINNING BIKES. Rossi, Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo were great. Marquez is simply a good rider and no more.

You think the honda / ducati wasnt a good bike when stoner won on it? You think the yamaha wasnt good when lorenzo won on it? You think the Honda wasnt strong when Pedrosa was always team mates to a world champion on the other honda? Marquez is and was the fastest Rider on the grid ever since he step foot into MotoGP and im not even a 'Marquez fan'. The guy was an absolute alien, the only way he wasnt winning or coming on the podium was if his Bike failed, or if he fell off. The Ducati is the best bike on the grid. Very very closely infront of the Aprillia and the KTM, the honda and yamaha are absolutely awful. If you think that in todays standards of MotoGP, that a good rider on his own, on a bad bike, can win a world championship then you know nothing about the sport. The days of just 'talent' winning you a championship faded with valentino rossi, if you dont have a good bike, paired with being one of the best riders on the grid, you will not win a championship. Wait until Marc is on a ducati, and is actually used to the bike, hes still one of, if not the best rider on that grid. He was bringing the Honda home, and winning world championships when NO ONE else on the grid could even put a honda in the top 10. So hes already won on an inferior bike.

There's always an element of chance in motorsport. If you want to qualify at the front of the grid, don't rely on the last two minutes of the session to post your best time. But yeah, this wasn't qualifying anyway

This yellow flag crap in quali is so annoying - rather add time or figure out some other way to let riders get laps in. If you’re unlucky enough to come up behind (mostly minor) crashes you potentially lose a huge % of your “fast” laps!

If nothing is going to be done about the copycat following to get a time, I'm not going to watch the practice or the qualifying. Every other sport takes action against cheating and match fixing, so it's about time MotoGP make sure their athletes rely on their own ability to set a time.
