From my point of view, the "unexpected story" is in the part of the video where it says that John Lennon would have liked to play on this song. For me, this news is unexpected because I didn't know it before, and, considering John's "rebellious" and "bold" character, I never imagined he could have said something like that, in a way admitting a certain "weakness." I thought John would have pretended not to care and focused more on writing his own songs to fuel the "artistic competition" with Paul.
