You have to be a special kind of player to have consistent success at Wrigley Field. It's like playing in a sold out pressure cooker for 81 games. Wrigley Field is the place in MLB where at least 60 of the 81 games played there have a playoff atmosphere. That's why I'm really worried about this upcoming home stand. IF the Cubs somehow sweep the Dodgers and the Mets and Braves lose a couple of games, the pressure is going to be off the charts against teams with nothing to lose, the A's and the Nationals. These teams play to knock teams out of the playoff race. They're more dangerous than playing the Yankees or Dodgers.

Wrigley was within top 10 best park factor the past few years so it suddenly being bottom 5 is interesting. I really think it's both the team and the wind conditions. It's not just 1 or the other contributing to that.

If Hodge has his heart racing in 9th inning at Dodger Stadium, that's all the more reason to continue to ease him in over time and make sure Jed signs the right closer on the 1st day of free agency and jump the market and get that solved

Well Still better than heart attack Neris aka the walker if you just look at that guy, he will walk you He’s like Oprah Winfrey over here You get a walk you get a walk and you get a walk everyone gets a walk if you know anyone who is in a chair and can’t walk just introduce them to Neris the walker they will walk again

@@flatusexpellus1779 let me ask you this. Do you think we will make the playoffs? Nah right ?

@@flatusexpellus1779 we are four games back with 17 games to go. A lot of people already give up, but I think there is still some hope there

@@GoShwkk I would say bec the Braves are so battle tested that it will be very difficult to catch them... and the Mets are hot, so that's another issue... The other thing is, when the pressure and the big-lights came back on 10 days ago vs the Pirates, that choke thing reared it's ugly head again...
