If you ever heard about Sonic Syndicate - shortly, guys didn't like the direction Sonic Syndicate was going, left the band and founded The Unguided, playing basically the same music that Sonic Syndicate were playing on their first two albums.

This is an excellent direction for this band. Spectacular. It is modern metal, but it IS metal nonetheless, not emo. If anything, it reminds me of modern In Flames or even Soilwork at times....but the emo edge seems to have disappeared, and the world is a better place for it.

Danny Gore I’ve listened to Sonic Syndicate and the latest unguided stuff sounds just as good if not better than Sonic Syndicate’s debut album. Just because there’s more cleaner guitar work doesn’t make it worse than their old stuff. SS and fallen angels had plenty of repetitive riff structures with horrible rated albums so idk wtf you’re going on about haha
