I doubt this will change minds. Anti-choice people would say the babies would have been aborted and died anyway. Can't ignore the increase in patent heartache, though.

Of course you are not counting aborted babies as dead, and they are. Your data does suggest that a better law might include an exception for certain pre-natal abnormalities that are likely to lead to early death. Or, perhaps, quit persecuting pregnancy care centers that don't do abortions for helping mothers to avoid aborting healthy babies. At least this is a rational argument in a conflict that tends to be dominated by hysteria on both sides. Thanks for that.
